## What is OmniRss?

OmniRss is a focused, native RSS reader for iPhone and iPad. Built from scratch in SwiftUI, designed to feel calm — no infinite scroll, no algorithmic feed, no accounts.

— Subscribe to any RSS, Atom, or JSON feed. Paste a site name like "theverge.com" and OmniRss finds the feed automatically.

— Browse popular publications by category from the curated discovery directory — tech, news, science, design, finance, and more.

— Read in a typography-first reader view with seven hand-crafted themes (Coral, Paper, Light, Dark, OLED, Gray, System) and full control over font, line height, letter spacing, and word spacing — globally or per-feed.

— Pull the full article body when a feed only ships summaries. The reader's content extractor strips ads, comments, and clutter so you get the words.

— Listen to podcasts. RSS feeds with audio enclosures get a built-in player with lock-screen controls, 30-second skip, and now-playing integration.

— Background sync. Refreshes feeds while you're not looking, with a Wi-Fi-only mode for travel or limited data plans.

— OPML import and export. Bring your subscriptions from any other reader, take them anywhere.

— Mark-as-read on scroll, swipe to star or share, jump to next-feed-with-unread, end-of-feed mark-all-read. Keyboard-shortcut friendly on iPad.
