At least the “Next” version. It is utter and complete garbage. Uploading documents from a personal computer on to omnissa desktop app driver corporate desktop is not possible, unintuitive. Pl improve as it cannot get worse. This app doesn’t seem to understand safe area: it displays content underneath the status bar and its own keyboard toolbar, so remote content is difficult or impossible to read in certain parts of the screen. When you leave the app and come back, remote video often freezes. This can be resolved by resizing this app’s window, but it is still annoying, especially since resizing causes the safe area issues mentioned above. This app is also missing the file transfer feature that is present when using this app on other platforms. ### 2/5 — No borderless design *2025-12-13* When are we going to see the borderless design? This application is mostly occupied with white frame especially on iPhones, Lot of white background. ### 2/5 — Issues with Zoom VDI in Horizon Client *2025-11-03* Zoom Meetings does not properly work on Horizon when using IPad, Camera and Audio struggle to connect, was not an issue previously when using IPad. Since update to software it no longer works, preventing this from being a viable option for travel days. Please make the virtual keyboard go away or give me a switch to turn it off when I am on a physical keyboard. This plus better Stage Manager support would be huge. ### 2/5 — Keyboard menu popup at bottom still ruins experience *2025-01-31* I have been managing a horizon environment for years. My iPad Pro (with cellular) is seldom out of arms reach. It would be an ideal support tool if they could ever get the client right. It works (well, actually) but problems arise when you get a text field On an 11” ipad losing the bottom 10 percent or so of the screen is bad. And when you have anything in your client that has a text field, you will get the toolbar at the bottom of the screen. I have reached out to vmware support about this, and they eventually said ‘it’s an iPadOS issue’. If thats the case, how does the MS RDP client get around it?
