## What is OmniTaught?

Learn a skill. Prepare for an exam. Get better at your craft. Courses on any subject.

You would be amazed what you could learn in six months with just ten minutes a day.

OmniTaught teaches the way memory actually works. A lesson runs about six minutes. A quiz follows while the material is still fresh. Then review comes back on a schedule built around the point where you were about to forget, so the work you already did keeps paying off instead of draining away.

WHAT IS INSIDE

A growing library of courses, including exam preparation for the NCLEX, the NCE, the EMT exam, real estate licensing, and the Praxis, alongside clinical skills, medical terminology, neuropsychology, psychopharmacology, crisis response, and personal finance.

THE TOPIC GENIE

If the library does not have what you want, name any subject and the Genie builds a real course on it: lessons, quizzes, and review, in the same shape as everything else. Courses other learners have wished for are shared in the Wish Library, so you can pick up a course somebody else asked for.

A WORD YOU DO NOT KNOW

Double-tap any word in a lesson and its definition appears right there. Keep it, and it joins your review deck alongside everything else you are learning.

HOW IT FITS INTO A DAY

Ten minutes is a real session. Everything works offline once a course is on your shelf, so a commute or a waiting room is study time. Your progress syncs across every device you sign in on, and finished lessons, best scores, and review timing are merged rather than overwritten, so nothing you have earned gets lost when you switch devices.

WHO MADE IT

OmniTaught is built by Michael C. Shedrick, M.S., PLPC, NCC, a teacher who became a National Certified Counselor.

Your first week is free. After that, OmniTaught is a monthly or yearly subscription charged to your Apple ID. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, in your iPhone's Settings under Subscriptions.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.5 — 2026-09-24

Downloaded courses and offline lessons now stay saved after the app has been in the background. Plus new courses and small fixes.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-18

Lessons now come from our servers, so course updates reach you without waiting for a new version of the app. Courses you open stay on your phone for studying offline.

Also: an easier to see Log in link on the sign-up screen, and small fixes.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-16

You can now subscribe inside the app with your Apple ID. Pick a monthly or annual plan under Settings, add an extra Genie course, or add narration to a course. Restore purchases brings them back on a new phone.

Your plan and its renewal date now show under Settings, and this version carries a number of smaller fixes.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-11

Your own Genie courses now sit at the top of Topics, and Wish Library courses open with one tap. Help has a Contact Support box, and the lesson player and several screens are cleaner.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-10

Try it before you sign up. Open the app and take a whole lesson as a guest, the quiz and the result included, plus the review cards and saved words that lesson leaves behind. The account is asked for at the second lesson, not at the front door.

Reminders, if you want them. Turn them on in Settings and OmniTaught nudges you when review is due. At most one a day, never during your quiet hours, and only the kinds you asked for. One tap turns them off again.

Pinch any diagram to zoom it, full screen, and drag to move around it.

Also in this release:

- A streak now counts review, saved words and the Genie, not only a finished lesson.
- Courses carry their own look on the path.
- Signing out ends your session on our server, not just on this phone.
- Fixed a code box that could zoom the app in and leave it stuck there.
- A long list of smaller repairs across the welcome screens, review cards and course pages.
