Its like the devs dont know how to use the kaychain in iOS. if the app updates were less frequent would be less annoying at least. Besides that says it displaying Miles as range but despite 20+ app updates the number is clearly Kilometres. Also when logging back in be way less awkward of the SMS feature worked 1st try - takes anywhere between 1-5 goes before it actually sends one. Which means logging back in can take 2mins or 2 hrs. Sometimes it just loads up with a blank white screen with no option to select anything. Sometimes a reinstall works, other times not. I have had it working but it logs you out every so often for no reason. Now it doesn't work at all. Now the bad, it’s stopped logging me in. I just get a lovely pale blue Omoda Jaecoo screen, it’s actually relaxing to look, waiting while it does nothing. The car itself, Omoda 9 and customer service are actually very good. The app is like the dysfunctional family member. ### 1/5 — Omoda5 *2026-08-05, version 1.2.1* This app is terrible. It has only allowed me to link the car and I cannot do anything on the app. ### 1/5 — Total Failure *2026-08-03, version 1.2.1* Eventually managed to enter my ViN and Engine no. But could not get any further. There appears to be no way to link it to my OMODA 5 SHS Noble. Even the sales team I got the car from could not set me up. Now I can’t get on to the remote control access so the app is beyond pointless. A major overhaul is needed which I assume is coming given how popular Omoda and Jaecoo are becoming in the UK. Can check charging, turn on the AC during the heatwave etc. Super reliable after 3 months of ownership. Had it one week now. The only thing now with the app since its latest update is that it keeps asking for acknowledgment of ‘Guidelines for Personal Information Protection’ I’ve acknowledged each time the app runs, why? Bug in the software script? Best regards The EU APP Support Team ### 4/5 — Jaecoo 7 shs honest review *2025-05-05* App is working well for me on the Jaecoo 7 shs I’m able to set the charge times remotely, open close the windows and sunroof , open the car remotely also , look for charge points and send directions to the car , remotely activate the heating and cooling function 10-15 mins before I leave so car nice and warm or cold … including the heated seats , loving the car , would like to change the colour of my car to match on the app and also on the touchscreen if that could be added soon ???? **Developer response:** Dear user， Thank you very much for your honest evaluation of the APP. After seeing the previous reviews, I wasn’t expecting much to be completely honest however, after setting this up on my iPhone 16 I’m partially impressed with what it has to offer and the overall functionality. I would give this app full marks if they could include scheduling for setting heating, air conditioning or de-misting the windscreen. *Additionally - It would be great if the developers could add a charge limit feature. I’ve read it’s recommended to charge to 80% not 100% for a healthy battery. **Developer response:** Dear user, Thank you for your valuable feedback! Needs documentation for some parts *2025-03-28* Further to the review below I can add that the issues have been fixed and the app is working as expected. The only issue we have is the lack of documentation. Therefore I have upgraded my review to 4 stars. …We have purchased an OMODA E5 and using the Omoda Jaecoo iOS app. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to provide any data from the vehicle even though the two are connected and signed in. Apart from being able to send map destinations it seems like all the other commands return “execution failed, start the vehicle”. My previous car app would alert me if I left the car unlocked, windows open etc. I hope to see this app update during my time with my car. ### 3/5 — It’s Ok - just…. *2026-07-27* Managed to log in and link my car without any issues. Occasionally it will ask me to re-enter security codes etc. which is not a smooth process as security codes sent to your very rarely- if ever - arrive. Would be good if the app also included a mileage / journey log. Both my last two car apps (Audi and Volvo) included this feature - I had assumed it was a basic feature that would be included with all car apps. The Jaecoo itself is great but they have a lot of catching up to do with their app - a lot of catching up… ### 3/5 — Could be better *2026-07-17, version 1.2.1* App is alright. However….. if it needs updating it won’t charge the car. So this morning I came to a car with hardly any charge as it hadn’t started charging in the night.
