Give a cherished photo a quiet place of its own. Omoi Altar lets you add a name and a few words to a photo or Live Photo, then arrange it with flowers and gentle light as a small, personal altar. Create one for a family photo, someone dear, a beloved pet, a favorite, or a memory you want to keep close—without needing a physical shelf or display. THREE WAYS TO VIEW • App Home: Keep the selected altar nearby for everyday moments. • Full Screen: Enlarge it and gently change perspective by dragging or tilting your device. • AR: Place the selected altar on a printed common marker. Set it on a desk, take it with you while traveling, or bring it into a place connected to a memory. Once placed in AR, the altar remains visible when the marker leaves the camera view. Show the marker again to refine its position. All six common marker designs work the same way and can be viewed and shared from Settings. MAKE IT YOURS • Name and dedication • Photo or Live Photo, with silent motion • Position, zoom, monochrome, and timeworn photo effects • 4 altar forms and 5 materials • Flowers, lighting, and an optional stage • 8 app themes Hide the stage for a simpler presentation. Low Load Mode keeps your saved altar choices unchanged while reducing Live Photo playback and some motion, lighting, and rendering effects. FLOWERS THAT CHANGE WITH TIME Evergreen Branches, Sunlit Bloom, and Temari Bloom gradually change over about 30 days. Evergreen Branches can always be replaced for free. The first Sunlit Bloom and Temari Bloom placement is free on each altar; outside seasonal offering periods, later replacements of the same flower on that altar are consumable in-app purchases. Seasonal offering periods run for three days before and after the spring and autumn equinoxes, three days before and after Mother's Day and Father's Day, August 13–16, and December 24–January 7. During each period, you can replace Sunlit Bloom and Temari Bloom as often as you like for free on each altar. Optional reminders arrive at 9:00 a.m. on the first day and the day before the period ends. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your altar content, photos, and settings are stored locally in the app's container on your device. No account is required, and Omoi Altar does not upload your photos or altar content to a developer-operated server. The app contains no advertising, behavioral analytics, or third-party tracking. START FOR FREE The free experience includes one altar and photo placement in Traditional Altar with Walnut. Every available altar form and material can be previewed in the app's Home, Full Screen, and AR views before purchase. Optional non-consumable in-app purchases unlock photo placement for other altar-and-material combinations and add a second or third altar, up to a maximum of three. Owned purchases can be restored from Settings. Added confirmation guidance before choosing it, so the wilting behavior and replacement purchase are clear. ### 1.1 — 2026-06-09 Added a Tilt option for fullscreen viewing, so moving your iPhone or iPad can subtly shift the altar perspective and add a sense of depth. You can switch between Manual and Tilt, and keep using pinch zoom.
