But unfortunately the tires needed air and the air pump station didn’t work. Typically this happens if the locking system is low on battery, so the operator of that bike share program needs to do this. On any of these occasions, did you contacted the operator of that bike share program? You can contact them by clicking the HELP button in the App or using the Report a Problem button. We don't operate the bike share program; we only provide the platform to your property who owns and operates the bike share. If you want to contact us at info@onbikeshare.com with the name of your property, we can contact them on your behalf. ### 1/5 — Very bad user experience *2025-10-19, version 1.33* I’ve never had a app that has made me more frustrated than this. Not that hard to make an app. Not that hard to make it work… Lost of money and tax payers dollars ### 1/5 — Don’t Use this App *2025-10-07* My school uses this app for public bikes and so I downloaded this app to rent one. My mistake, because it will let you rent a bike, but it won’t unlock from its rack. And you can’t end the ride because the app thinks you removed the bike from its rack, which you didn’t do, because it is locked tightly in place. **Developer response:** Hello xxUmbreonDarkxx, Sorry to hear that you were unable to unlock the bike from the rack. This situation can happen if the battery level in the smart lock has dropped below the level needed to operate the motor in the lock. In this instance, the App provides you the ability to end the rental, even if it is still locked to the rack. I guess you didn't try this? Have you contacted your on-site system admin for assistance? Sometimes you can ride MOST of the time you can’t. GET IT TOGETHER ### 1/5 — Terrible *2025-09-28* You have to have a phone for each rider. We rented a bike for an adult and then could not rent one for my child that did not bring her phone. Total waste of time and money. Each rider needs to accept the waiver, acknowledge that they are 18+ years of age, and accept financial responsibility for using the bikes. The bikes are also all adult size bicycles and not intended for children. ### 1/5 — Not functional *2025-09-25* The audacity of this app to be CONSTANTLY asking for reviews (probably every 30 seconds) is wild given that I haven’t gotten it to work once. We use this app at work to control our onsite bike fleet got getting around the campus, and the bikes are practically useless because they’re in a perpetually locked state because of this nonfunctional app and ecosystem.
