## What is On?

On-Call Duty Pro is the scheduling app for teams that must stay reachable around the clock — and need to document that reachability in a way that holds up to scrutiny.

Who's on call right now? Who's on tonight? What happened when last week's shift was swapped, and who signed off on it? On-Call Duty Pro answers these questions in seconds — for today, for last month, for the audit six months from now.

WHO THIS APP IS BUILT FOR

Data-centre and IT operations running 24/7 SLAs, technical emergency services, facility management, hospitals, EMS and nursing teams, utility companies, security and guarding services — any team where on-call duty is a commitment, not an improvisation, and needs to be organised fairly and defensibly.

ROTATIONS

Weekly, bi-weekly and monthly rotation patterns. Fair distribution based on configurable rules. Rolling schedules that automatically extend into the future. Vacation blocks and exceptions are honoured.

SHIFT SWAPS WITH A DEFINED APPROVAL CHAIN

A four-step wizard walks you through every request: pick the type (swap, take, release, time change), choose the shift and partner, enter a reason, submit. The request then travels through a configurable approval chain. Everyone involved is notified by push. Every status change remains visible — from submission to implementation.

AUDITABLE HISTORY

The audit log records every security-relevant action with a timestamp and the responsible user. Who took which shift, when? Who approved, who rejected, and on what grounds? The answer is still there years later — for compliance, labour-law questions, or internal review.

TEAMS AND ORGANISATIONS

Strict data separation between organisations. Within each organisation, teams and visibility can be tuned precisely. Four roles: User, Dispatcher, Administrator, Super Administrator. New members are invited by signed email tokens.

SECURITY AND PRIVACY

All data is processed in Germany (IONOS, Karlsruhe). The app is built and documented to meet GDPR requirements. Sign-in by password, Face ID, Touch ID, TOTP, or Single Sign-On with Google, Microsoft or Apple. The local database on the iPhone is encrypted with SQLCipher. No tracking, no advertising, no sharing with third parties.

IN PRACTICE

Offline mode with automatic background sync. iOS calendar integration. Push notifications for status and schedule changes. Excel and PDF export for meetings and archiving. Optional public schedule links for external partners. Native interface in five languages: German, English, Spanish, French, Italian.
