That is if you think a coach calls a running play while down 7 in the fourth quarter on 4th and 11 accurate, you either don’t know football or coach for the Chicago Bears. I can understand something’s, this One I don’t. Perfect definition of a football gm game I want that you don’t get to fully play the game. You get to call the plays, but not actually do the play yourself. 2 negatives though; 1. My team is 1st overall team by 2 overalls but we don’t make the playoffs (My coach is ranked 15th) 2. Can the college part that you can do (but pay $1.99) be free? Because I love college football games, but there’s not many if at all good college football gm games. So if you could make it free, I would play it all the time, non stop. I’m doing run where it’s the western state capitals of the ms river vs the eastern state capitals and its a bomb watching teams rise and fall (including mine). My only issue is that the offense has ten players shown whereas the defense has eleven. I know, it’s a little thing but it drives me nuts. Also the game cuts at times when I’m in game prep, another little thing, but the training becomes different when you try again and that could spell the difference between a win and a loss. And lastly, this is a request of mine, but could there be some more expressive news when describing the games played? Depending on how the score is, I wish there was a little more flamboyance and variation when summarizing the results. ### 4/5 — Love this game but too many bugs *2024-04-30* I love the recent updates but after year 3 the game completely trips out. For whatever reason when a player signs with a team in free agency that I don’t necessarily want on that team I will goto edit them and switch them back to their old team but it won’t make the change after I update the player. I will try and switch them to some other team and it still does the same. I have had it to where they end up on 3 or 4 teams at the same time and at the end of the season they end up with crazy numbers as it shows them only playing for one team. I love this game and play it almost everyday. The stats finally make sense at the end of the season besides the issue I stated. I love the award tracker. Maybe add a defensive and offensive player of the year award or some rookie of the year ones too. All the updates have been exactly what I wanted to see in this game and I just wish this issue can be fixed so I can go back to playing this dope game. I would give it 5 if there weren’t so many bugs. Also the game crashes on me quite a bit, it used to happen a lot but it still is annoying. ### 2/5 — Draft issue *2024-04-13* Please fix the draft after the season. As players get picked… they don’t come off the board and everyone just drafts the same player. But not everyone gets the player though… and they also appear in free agency after the draft. And their ratings go up after the 2nd round. An 80 overall qb became a 98 after the second round. All the computer teams had all the top draft players on their teams by the time it was over. My user controlled team didn’t get any of my draft picks. Game was great until after the season. Please let me know when this gets fixed. I’d like to keep playing. **Developer response:** Thanks for pointing this out! This has been resolved in the latest in app update. ### 4/5 — Overtime *2024-04-11, version 1.1* In the collage mode it should be like collage overtime ### 2/5 — Decent game, Flawed w/ Bugs, Lack of Updates. *2024-03-22* This is a fun game overall, & has the presentation to feel like mobile version of made franchise mode. I believe with the right corrections, updates, and additions it could be the best game on the IOS market. Sadly, it is greatly flawed with bugs and lacks many necessary updates. There are pages you get stuck in & are unable to leave, practices that lock you in and won’t allow you to progress, and the stats of the players are widely skewed and not based at all in reality. I like my sports games that have stats to somewhat mimic those that occur in real life but when a QB throws for 11k+ in a season & the most ever done in reality is less than 6k it kills the immersion. PocketGM has the stats on point & while I would love to see a competitor challenge it’s spot, it will reigns supreme. Complete Fraud! There’s no College Mode OR customization unless you pay extra. Complete Fraud! Not only is it a scam, once you start playing the version they do provide, you realize it’s just a bad game. You can’t even sort your roster in a traditional way. It’s hard to even get tabs on the strength and rating of your team. The game is clearly made by people who have no experience with the game of football. You’d think that if you pay upfront for a game like this that you’d get a decent product. Nope! Huge disappointment! The farther you go, the worse this game gets! It’s just awful. It’s such a disappointment to begin with, it’s impossible to really get into it. There no tutorial and frankly, it’s not worth the effort to figure it out! I just wasted 4 bucks. I the 2020 and 2023 version you could use custom logos and in this not only can u not use custom logos but you can’t even use all the logos that are in the game. I was already annoyed when I had to pay $4 for the game then an additional $3 to unlock college and customization but I figured it would be worth it if I could make my custom league like in previous versions. It’s sad that this is worse than 2023 version and the 2020 version is better than both. I think the recruiting system can use a little bit of a revamp maybe adding more feature in that respect (making phone calls, invite to campus etc) Also sometimes the game crashes at moments, for me when I am in the transfer portal it crashes a lot. BUT all in all I am extremely satisfied in this game and would love to see it grow and maybe evolve into the company doing other sports! Only downside is every so often it says I’m on offense, however it only shows defensive plays to choose from! I continually have to restart the game or sim to get past this bug!! Only other issue is if you customize teams some of them will not change on screen during games. Example is “Virginia State” which is Virginia Tech still says Virginia State during game even after you change it.
