For simple booking queries you really need to have a human assistant option on your chat line. Sometimes AI just can’t help. My query was simple, but you nearly lost my booking to Jet2 because of it. On this year bookings there is no option for overhead luggage what we normally have with 1x20kg hold bag but we had to book for 3 20kg bag as there was no other option. And trying to actually speak to a person is impossible. Chat help function provides no assistance. Want to amend a holiday date or lead passenger. Forget it , you wasted most of your money and will need to rebook. I have never felt as cheated and part of a system that is designed to frustrate and avoid assistance of any form. No to mention the complete miss direction when you actually receive a response. What is customer service to you. Due to go away for a wedding next week. Booked it, paid, and then they cancelled the booking- never refunded. I have not been refunded even though they said it would be 3-5 days. There is no email, no phone number to call (there is a phone number if you are already in the resort but apart from that, you are on your own). I’m supposed to be leaving on Monday but haven’t been given the money back so can’t book through anyone else. They have a web chat but it doesn’t work. You never get through to a human, and the same message just comes through no matter what you say on the chat. There is literally no way of contacting them or getting the money back. I now have to wait until enough time has lapsed before I can reclaim my money through my bank. It’s theft plain and simple.
