## What is On the Beat?

Turn the best cycling songs into ready-to-teach rides.

Built for indoor cycling instructors, On the Beat helps you create classes where every climb, sprint, and recovery lands on the beat. Build a ride from your music, customize the choreography, and teach from a live timer designed for the studio.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Build a class in minutes. Start with a theme, playlist, or vibe and generate a complete ride.

• Program to the music. Climbs hit the build, sprints hit the drop, and every effort matches the energy of the song.

• Teach with confidence. Follow a clean, glanceable timer showing the current move, what's next, and where you are in the ride.

• Play full songs through Apple Music, synced to your class timer and playing even when your screen is locked. Spotify is supported too (tracks open in the Spotify app).

• Make every class your own. Adjust drills, timing, intensity, and ride structure to fit your coaching style.

• Export and share. Print or save a clean one-page class sheet for the studio.

Spend less time searching for songs and building playlists. Spend more time coaching unforgettable rides.

APPLE MUSIC

Full-song playback in class uses your own Apple Music subscription, connected directly through Apple. On the Beat never sees or stores your Apple ID password. You can also save any class as a playlist in your Apple Music library.

Using Spotify? On the Beat builds the class and runs the timer and the cues. You start the songs in Spotify yourself.

You do not need any music subscription to build classes, browse the catalogue, or teach with the timer and cues.

### 5/5 — Time savings and confidence

*2026-07-15*

This app is wonderful! It has saved me so much time while programming my classes. I’m talking hours. You can easily filter and build classes by genre, bpm, artists and theme. The explore page also offers recommended playlists that can be tailored to the instructors teaching style.

It’s simple to navigate and allows you to make modifications for drills and cues. The best part is that the music is time stamped so the instructor knows when to apply specific drills and cue!! Amazing!!

I have been teaching cycling for 3 years and this app has elevated my confidence and allowed me to be more present with my riders.

This is a fantastic app for anyone teaching cycling or any rhythm/beat driven class. Highly recommend!!

### 5/5 — Easy to use class builder

This app is perfect for both the brand new cycle instructors learning to find beat and the veteran instructors looking to cut a few minutes off class planning. I personally love the class feature where notes seamlessly pop up when I need them most. I definitely recommend!!
