Received the drone in 8/16, and in a matter of seconds it crashed badly. We are now at the end of 2016, and despite having returned the faulty drone 2 months ago (tracking ok), im still waiting for either a refund or a new drone... Onagofly is a consumer nightmare. Very very disappointed ### 1/5 — DO NOT buy this drone *2016-09-21, version 1.4.8* I too am one of the original backers for this product. I have on-going problems with wifi connectivity to it. One or more props often will not spin up after unlocking. Its battery life is horrible and NOT as promoted. Flight is often unpredictable. Wifi latency issues abound even with the new updated App. And yes, customer service is nearly non-existent. I am sorely disappointed that I backed the company with my $300+ "donation." Oh well, live and learn, I suppose. ### 1/5 — Excellent Paper weight! *2016-09-20, version 1.4.8* I am one of the original backers for Onagofly. When it finally arrived I carefully followed the instructions and when I took it outside to fly I couldn't even get the propellers to spin once! It was connected to my iPhone via wifi, but it said something like, not recommend flight" Huh(?) then, after trying just 5-7 minutes I get a "Low Battery Warning" flashing on my iPhone screen. I couldn't believe it! Just 7 minutes at the most with the battery connected & fully charged, the propellers didn't turn once & now the battery is almost dead! It's suppose to last at least 15 minutes in flight? I recharge the battery & take it way out in a field where there's no interference with any electronics, etc & the same thing happens again. After being fully charged, 5 minutes trying to get it to fly & the battery is almost dead! I return home & try contacting Onagofly for tech support/ customer service. It took me 2 1/2 weeks of constantly calling & leaving over a dozen messages before finally getting ahold of someone. By now I've lost all interest in the drone. I was disappointed in its lack of dare I say, performance! Then the ridiculous struggle to contact ANYONE from the company for help. During this time, my wife was constantly getting on my back about spending over $300 for a new drone product/ company that has yet to establish a reputation for honesty & customer service is their #1 priority. I've been having a email correspondence with one person who claims to be in charge. Long story short, the customer is not their #1 priority...rather it's money. I requested a refund & one lady I did manage to speak to on the phone said I could get a full refund. Now this guy is saying I can't get a full refund & I'm going to take a serious loss for returning a defective product that was out of my control. I recently asked if he could send me a new drone that works & once I receive it I will send back the paper weight! That was 2 weeks ago & I have not heard anything back from him. Such a shame. I really had high hopes for this drone. I recommend you shop around & buy a drone from an established company that truly cares about their customers & not just the money. Also, if you hold off for a while, future drones will have batteries that last longer than 15-25 minutes! Or in the case of Onagofly...longer than 7 minutes sitting on the ground doing nothing at all! I hope you have better luck than me! ### 1/5 — READ THIS *2016-08-25, version 1.4.3* I purchased this drone from a Kickstarter campaign. I'd does absolutely nothing the company claims. It's an unstable and dangerous drone. None of the "amazing" features work. It is virtually uncontrollable. This company will not refund anyone's purchase. Rotor blades do not rotate. I signed on at the beginning to help the team along. When it finally arrived it looked great in the box. Flying it, however, is a whole different story. The farthest I have been able to to fly it is about 30 feet before it mysteriously aims for the ground and crashes. Usually it takes off, tilts one way or another before smashing itself into the ground. Auto fly is no better. I've enjoyed it very much. It flies real well. And with the phone tilt app it's very easy to operate. This is the first radio controlled aircraft I've ever owned and I've had a lot of fun with it. It's been worth every dime I paid for it! ### 5/5 — This one is the answer to ur question *2016-05-15, version 1.3.3* If you have an iOS device for onagofly you have to go in the settings and change it to the onagoflys wifi. Then make sure it's connected then wait a couple seconds. ### 4/5 — Actually works now *2016-11-03, version 1.4.8* I was disappointed when I first bought this drone. For some reason I tried it again the other day and it actually works now. The GPS does what it's supposed to and holds the drone in place. ### 4/5 — Solo in cinese!!! -> Problema risolto. *2016-08-15* Only in chinese language. Cannot switch to english. 😡 Useless. Update: in order to have english I had to install also this language pack in iPhone and reinstall app. Now it works well. 2nd update: last version change some UI. Need new practice!😉 Connection is very sensitive to local wireless networks, be carefull. IR setting turn to off at any restart. Should be fixed. BTW... Control of onagofly in tilt mode is just a little slow to react - maybe 1/4 to 1/3 second lag. Still having fun checking practical limits of operation. Only one time was there a hiccup with screen display while transitioning from single pic mode to video mode - controls were slightly pushed off screen. Resetting the onagofly & restarting the app straightened it out. Wishing for FPV to work with VR goggles. Still, having fun & not flying into obstacles. Password is 12345678 ### 3/5 — iOS app needs updated *2016-07-17, version 1.4.0* I will start off by saying the drone flys well. I have had good, bad, and ok flights. I do however have problems with follow me in that I have never gotten it to work. When I go into menu and I switch the IR to the ON position it will not turn OFF. Also GPS takes forever to turn orange. Even in clear open spaces in clear open blue skies. I end up wasting 15% of my battery sitting there waiting to fly.
