Good idea, however, needs an extra digit to get sub metre accuracy. Only good to a metre at present. Now you may say that that’s OK but an extra digit would be useful. Theoretically with 1024 samples you should get a 32 times more accurate position down to maybe 0.3 metres.
There will probably be systematic errors meaning this is not going to give you an absolute accuracy that good anyway but still, maybe it might? 
The app map and scatter plot is nice. The control setup is primitive and it needs a stop button so you can hold the result.  On the iPad you could show several position formats on the screen. 
I hope the developer has been mindful of keeping the numeric precision high enough to avoid underflow/overflow. Good idea.

If it showed position superimposed on google maps it would be perfect for my needs, to see my position relative to a spot I have marked. As it is it’s only useful to get coordinated.

Functionally, the app seems to work very well. I ran a couple of tests getting readings in cloudy weather and with a 50 point sample the averaged coordinates seemed spot on. 

Couple of things I’d like to see. 1) the accuracy selector is difficult to use as a slider bar. Would prefer a different input. Like one of those roledex selectors or a free form input field. 
2) it would be nice to get the coordinates in different formats.

Does what it says it does

It could be improved by adding a stop button so that one can average over a long period of time, say a few hours.

**Developer response:** Thank you very much for your review! Regarding your suggestion - do you mean a “pause” button? At the moment there’s only start and stop. Is the idea that you’d average a bit, then pause for some time (but your phone has to remain in same location), then at a later point collect more samples and finally stop completely? I like this simple app! I just wish there were instructions on how to set the Accuracy an “Alpha” slider controls. I don’t even know what “Alpha” is in this context. Other than that, it works great!
