This app acts like it holds the US nuclear codes and immediately logs out and takes you back to the start if you move out of the app at all. So grab a 2nd device if you need to use it because you can’t check your calendar and use the app at the same time. This used to be a great feature to view all of the swimmers times in one spot. Now the only way in is click on the swimmer and then find the “best times” button for that individual. I have AAA games that load way faster than this. And you can’t look away for more than 2 seconds and it will do it all over again. Also, the interface is poorly designed and clutters the experience. Honestly you are probably better off finding what you are looking for by using meet mobile, swim cloud, and your team’s website. ### 1/5 — OnDeck Refresh Annoying *2024-10-11, version 8.1.0* The developers of this app need to change how this app reloads every time you leave the app for 2 seconds and then come back to it. I believe the permission enhancement in the version broke the function. Currently I have been locked out of my account for several days, I am able to login online but the app refuses to recognise my email address and will not provide any option to reset my password. I have had the app randomly lock me out and refuse to recognise my login many times over the years I’ve used it, usually it starts to work again just as randomly - currently it doesn’t seem to be showing any signs of getting fixed. If it only worked reliably it would be a good app, but I can’t ever rely on it to give me information or allow me to take a register when I am on deck. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t update all times *2024-02-25, version 7.3.32* Not sure why, but should easily match all times. Ever other swim app shows all times swam as a USA swimmer, but this app seems to have a lot of missing data. Also swim standards are not kept up to date. ### 1/5 — It doesn’t work *2024-02-03, version 7.3.31* When launch this app, the team region shows unknown, if I click “unknown” trying to select a region, a popup screen shows “unknown server error“, then nothing can be done ### 1/5 — Major Bug - Time Standards vs New Best Times *2023-12-05* Typically I recommend all the parents on our team use OnDeck vs our website but it just keeps getting “worse”. My biggest issue at the moment is there is a known bug in the system that times achieved during the new season (Sept 1 and after) are reflected in the swimmer’s best times but is NOT shown in the Time Standards section of the app. I keep following up and the response is “We do not have a specific timeline to resolve this issue.” This feature is sooooooo helpful to swimmers (and parents) and swimmers love to be able to see their progress toward a goal (seeing their name above that line). I also do not like all the “features” that have been added to TeamUnify and pushed down to OnDeck but you don’t have the option to personalize for your team. We don’t do our billing through TeamUnify so having “My Finances” and “My Wallet” as soon as you log in is very confusing. We should have the option to turn this off.
