### 4/5 — Efficient

*2011-04-04, version 1.1*

Does exactly as advertised. Minimalist, black and white. Ill go to 5 stars if you add a dimmer for nighttime. Thanks...Jon B

### 4/5 — Jake

*2011-03-08, version 1.0*

Easy peasy lemon squeezy

### 4/5 — One alarm to rule them all

*2011-03-06, version 1.0*

It's the perfect alarm clock. I would have given it a five if it automatically sounded the alarm at maximum volume, rather than at the volume setting in effect when the alarm sounds. Also, the default for am/pm should be what would select the alarm for the next 12 hours. For example, if it's 9pm now and i set the alarm for 10, it should pick 10pm, but if i set it for 8, it should pick 8am.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Circadian Rhythm Needed

*2023-09-28, version 2.5*

Because the minimalist design alarm did not work. For some reason it worked yesterday afternoon. No explanation for multiple notifications that can’t be accessed in any way I could figure out. Most reviews are years old. Maybe too minimalist.

### 1/5 — Was great...

*2011-10-24, version 1.2*

This was a great app, after the update though, keeps crashing. Hopefully you'll fix it.

### 1/5 — Exactly what i was looking for... NOT

*2011-08-26, version 1.1*

If you are just looking for a simple alarm clock, this is it...

Come on, TEN free days? Then you can't use it

### 2/5 — No support for landscape mode

*2011-05-19, version 1.1*

Looks good in portrait but i have a stand that only does landscape. Useless, fail

### 2/5 — Spend your 99 cents on a real alarm clock elsewhere

*2011-04-05, version 1.1*

This would be fine for a free app. Reminds me of something a college student does for a class assignment. But, there are many quality alarm apps out there. Free for 10 days...I got a good laugh out of that, and then deleted it.

### 2/5 — Good app. But only free for 10 days.

*2011-03-07, version 1.0*

It's ok to charge for an advanced version but this basic version should be free.

### 3/5 — Getting better

*2017-10-09, version 2.5*

I love the simple design and ease of setting.
It’s just an alarm. Period. Hard to screw up. The devotees still need to work on iPad compatibility and when a decide rotates the screen is really messed up. Let’s get these bugs worked out!

### 3/5 — Less is More

*2012-06-29, version 1.23*

This app is not 'Free' as one has to pay $0.99 after 10 days of use. However, as described One Alarm is minimal and it is simple. This also makes it very convenient and quick to set and use. So simple and easy that one is more likely to use it as a timer or short term reminder than as a traditional alarm clock. With this use in mind (timer/reminder) it could do with a couple of improvements:

- Show current time using hands in different colour or 'ghost'. With this it would be easy to set the alarm time a specific amount of time ahead of existing time.
- In conjunction with the above it would be useful to have a button to 'set to current time'. This would save one having to wind the hands round to the the current time period when setting it up as a short term timer (kitchen timer for example).
- Needs to show time remaining to alarm time or, as mentioned above, show actual time with hands in different colour so that one can visually determine time remaining.

With some minor improvements this app might actually be useful and worth buying and deserve a higher star rating.

### 4/5 — This is what it’s all about.

*2020-10-09, version 2.5*

Love this app so much. Thank you!

### 4/5 — ✔️ 👍🏼 // Needs some options added / updated

*2020-05-29, version 2.5*

Love the simplicity just would like to add alternate alarm sounds.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Perfect!

*2020-10-25, version 2.5*

The only alarm app that's just that...an alarm! Love it!

### 5/5 — Perfect!

*2014-10-11, version 1.23*

I really like this ultra simple alarm app VERY much! It works perfectly and I can easily set the alarm within just a few seconds. The best part is that this alarm ALWAYS works. It has never failed me.

It is truly the epitome of simplicity!!!

### 5/5 — minimal, to the point.

*2013-06-21, version 1.23*

Excellent design, simple and initiative. Great app.

### 5/5 — Great

*2012-06-14, version 1.23*

CW & T always make top notch stuff. Great app!

### 5/5 — Tom McCarthy

*2011-12-31, version 1.23*

This is the best and most simple
Alarm i have purchased.I also use
it for my parking time. Brill!!!
Well worth the cost.

### 5/5 — It works. (my bad)

*2011-12-20, version 1.23*

Come to find out the alarm didn't work, unbeknownst to me: my lack of the iPhone new setting features. Make sure your Notifications are intact.
CW&T offers great customer support. They walked me thru my issue. This alarm is clean. Minimal. And extremely samurai!

### 5/5 — Updated for iOS 5

*2011-11-30, version 1.23*

Updates have been made to work with iOS 5 including the new notification center.

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2011-04-10, version 1.1*

This is my favorite alarm clock for the iPad! It works well with speed and simplicity. And I love the interface - the military aviation style barber poles are awesome!

### 5/5 — Live simply

*2011-03-22, version 1.01*

Simple but we don't need more! And nice sensation to turn the clock switches!!!

Thanks

### 5/5 — Idiot proof alarm

*2011-03-08, version 1.0*

We are so used to complex alarm interfaces (hotel alarm clocks are the worst) that the simplicity of one alarm is initially startling. I had to quadruple check to make sure the alarm was on. Super simple. Snick snick.

Only suggestion would be if the clock dial or screen was red so dummies like me know when the phone is on mute.
