Es fühlt sich eher an wie ein misslungener Versuch „lifeline“ nachzuahmen. Die Antwortmöglichkeiten sind m.E. nicht immer gut gewählt. Habe das Spiel mehrfach durchgespielt um verschiedene Lösungswege zu Test, wurde dabei leider enttäuscht. Erst vorsichtig und dann nach dem dritten Versuch immer versucht nicht das zu machen, was offensichtlich zu tun ist. Egal welche Antwort man wählt, es hat keinerlei Auswirkungen auf die spätere Handlung. Ganz im Gegenteil wählt man einen Weg, der nicht vorgesehen ist, wird man automatisch wieder auf den richtigen Pfad geführt, was im Nachhinein eher frustrierend ist und somit den Spaß nimmt, tatsächlich eine Entscheidung getroffen zu haben. ### 3/5 — Eigentlich ganz gut... aber... *2018-03-31* Zu Anfang fand ich das Spiel wirklich gut. tolles Konzept aber nicht so wirklich gut umgesetzt. es ist immer die gleiche story line egal welche Antwort man auswählt und wirklich fantasievoll und kreativ ist die Geschichte auch nicht gestaltet aber der Soundtrack und die Grafiken sind wirklich sehr gut ### 3/5 — Grundsätzlich gelungen, aber eindimensional *2018-02-20* Mehr ein Roman als ein Spiel, eindimensionale Handlungsstränge ohne viele Entscheidungsmöglichkeiten. After a couple of days of playing in my off time, I lost interest. Could be minutes, could be hours. It took me about two weeks to finish because a lot of the time when the message came, I was already bored. The personal investment is broken. It is a tad bit long on the waiting, however, as other games have done (3 minute games), has a way around this. Simply go into the menu and activate fast mode. The game will also give you a code to "unlock" this properly, even though you don't need the code, at the end of your first play through. It's definitely worth paying for and is a wonderful experience. ### 5/5 — Very good app *2016-03-20, version 2.0.6* Let me get this straight, Story is slow because that is how these types of games are, and you can activate a hyper speed chat so that u don't have to wait. Second, app was not laggy for me. Third, people say it's poorly made because of the text appearing in rectangles with pointy corners instead of appearing with rounded corners. War auch neugierig, weil ich diese Art von Spiel gerne mag. Doch viele Antworten führen ins Leere, das Spiel selbst fesselt mich persönlich gar nicht. Und ich habe nicht nur 5 Minuten gespielt. Schade, das Prinzip ansich ist gut...einen Stern verdient es dafür...muss ich auch vergeben, um bewerten zu dürfen. Was gut wäre, wäre eine Probeversion mit einem Kapitel, die dann bei Gefallen weiter freigeschaltet/gekauft werden kann. Unfortunately it isn't. After buying "Rules" from this developer, and loving it I decide to give their other app a try. One Button Travel starts off as an interesting text based game, like others on the platform. Sadly, just minutes into playing it experiences serious lag. Whenever you are receiving messages, the device freezes completely. You have to wait until all messages are received to start viewing. This lag is impossible to overlook, even for the Apple Watch. For a $3 game, if you are purchasing this for the watch, save your money. Plus the developers, the fabulous TheCodingMonkeys, have tweaked it a couple of times in 2020 already, so 'One Button Travel' deserves at least one up-to-date review. Here's mine... I've had this app installed for quite some time, but as I don't play many games, I hadn't ever got around to playing it for more than a couple of minutes. Well, I've finished it now, and I'm impressed. To be clear, I'm pretty sure that I bought this due to my friends and I being long-term players of their EXCELLENT (and now sadly removed) Carcassonne game. THAT game was perfectly implemented, with no bugs that we ever found (I reported what I thought was a bug at one point, but they politely pointed out that I was wrong!), even after years of playing, so their attention-to-detail is exceptional. 'OBT' is no different. It's clever, detailed, and bug-free - at least in my perfectionist opinion. I thought I'd found a typo at one point - but quickly realised that was a plot device, and therefore intentional! Obviously, no spoilers here. It's a medium-length, interesting, real-time, quirky, funny adventure. I highly recommend you put a little time into it, you won't be disappointed. It's certainly worth the current GBP 2.99 asking price for a few hours of fun. Just ignore the old, negative reviews found here! Oh, and I played it on an iPhone, which worked perfectly. I plan to get an Apple Watch soon, and I suspect that this game would be even better on that - the Watch is probably the ideal medium for such a real-time, interactive game!
