### 5/5 — The best thing since sliced bread

*2026-07-31, version 4.100.0*

It literally took me five minutes to sign up and one minute to be connected with a doctor or a nurse to get the antibiotics that I needed. I love this idea.

### 5/5 — 1st Virtual Call

Provider was beyond kind, patient and understanding. She offered a few different thoughts as to what she thought the problem was. She explained everything and we talked through our options.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Getting worse and worse

*2026-08-26, version 4.104.0*

Ive meed a OneMedical patient for years and I have a great primary care physician.
However since the amazon acquisition the service (particularly the app) has gone downhill and it’s become the most useless, frustrating and mind numbing experience.
Everything is mediated by an AI chatbot or endless flows that take away the complexity in definition of (even the most mundane) medical conditions.
Sending a message to your provider now seems impossible. Not to mention when random nurses pick up your request and decide to take initiatives of their own.
Used to be great now Im looking for another provider.

### 1/5 — Communication

*2026-08-10, version 4.102.0*

The online chats often take days to respond to simple questions … hard to communicate with my dr’s office specifically. I love my doctor and that’s the main reason I have stayed with the service.

### 1/5 — As with everything else, AI makes this worse

*2026-08-05, version 4.101.0*

Nobody with more than a second-grade education wants medical advice from a hallucinating plagiarism machine.

### 1/5 — OneNurse

*2026-08-04, version 4.101.0*

They should call this place one nurse not one medical. Or maybe one medical means they have one medical doctor working across the whole operation? That would be a fitting name.

### 1/5 — Avoid and get a cost estimate upfront

*2026-07-30, version 4.100.0*

Although the medical attention I received from my Dr. at One Medical has been acceptable I cannot recommend this company. It seems like they have gone down hill since being acquired by Amazon.
My first issue was when I went in for a flu and covid shot last year. Due to an insurance coverage mix up at the time I was unknowingly uninsured when I went for my vaccination. One Medical should have known this when I arrived for my appointment. I checked in, got my vaccination and left. Months later I received an outrageous bill for these simple vaccinations. I could have gone to CVS or many other providers had I known One Medical was going to charge me three times the going rate ( I still believe at the time they would have been free at CVS but One Medical disputes this.) I tried negotiating with them and ultimately they reduced the bill…I had no alternative but to accept this at the time because I was overdue for my annual check up.

Unfortunately things have not changed at One Medical. I went in for my annual check up (all be it months late because of the billing dispute) Checked in with my updated insurance. Their app recommended a vaccine to be added to the check up and I assumed it was necessary. In any event I was billed over 500 for the vaccine that I have now learned was over double the going rate. I was also billed for my check up which should have been covered by my insurance. I assumed this was a mistake so I contacted billing through their billing email provided by the app. It’s been almost two weeks and I have received NO response. Luckily my primary care doctor who has been great is retiring. I will be finding an alternative provider going forward and will NOT be back to One Medical.

### 1/5 — Call quality and wait time

*2026-07-29, version 4.100.0*

Call quality was poor. No issue with my connection. Virtual call stopped mid call. No one called me back. Couldn’t figure out how to get back to doctor.

### 1/5 — Unprofessional doctors

*2026-07-28, version 4.100.0*

You can’t call your dr on the phone, you can’t even call your dr’s office on the phone I mean, you are supposed to message them directly, but they never respond, they had me come in for an appointment so that I’d have to pay more then never responded when I sent my test results. I went to a different doctor about intense sharp glass like lung pain but made the mistake of admitting I have anxiety, after getting my medical records I saw she wrote down it was psychosomatic. $150 for that btw, dr was even late to the appointment so it was rushed, they’re the ones that told me to come in for an appointment then just told me to go to the ER if i can’t breath, gave no explanation to what it might be either. They’ll often tell you to just come in for a visit so they’ll get more money even though you pay monthly for free online care

### 1/5 — Can’t directly message provider

*2026-07-23, version 4.99.0*

New app update no longer allows me to message my provider directly. My message will be sent to a team that will then reroute it to the correct party (according to them). Having access to communicate with my doctor is essential and should be a basic easy feature.

### 1/5 — Not helpful

*2026-07-22, version 4.99.0*

Just tried to get help with simple issue and they wanted me to go to an in-person provider instead. Will never use again.

### 1/5 — They don’t care

*2026-07-11, version 4.97.0*

Had a Doctor not provide me with proper care, saw a new doctor 2 days later, got the proper care. They would not help me dispute the charge, they stop responding to me.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Quick response

*2026-08-26, version 4.104.0*

My call was answered within 3 minutes, and Travis was friendly and knowledgeable. He listened to me and gave immediate suggestions on treatment. Very pleased!

### 5/5 — Fast help for UTi

*2026-08-23, version 4.103.0*

Called and spoke to a physician who was able to send a prescription to my pharmacy.

### 5/5 — .

### 5/5 — Great service

*2026-08-19, version 4.103.0*

### 5/5 — My doc

*2026-08-19, version 4.103.0*

She was awesome

### 5/5 — 🙏

*2026-08-19, version 4.103.0*

Thank you so much for helping me get an emergency medication I ran out of while temporarily in town to take care of my mom who just had a stroke. ❤️

### 5/5 — So fast

*2026-08-18, version 4.103.0*

I was intimated to use this service but as a young adult with little access to transportation/ insurance this is ideal.

### 5/5 — Super online care. Lacks local physicians

*2026-08-18, version 4.103.0*

High turnover rate for the few local centers. Means the online care is very good. The in person care is difficult to get appointments when sick - either long waits (several days), or/and long drives. If they get more physicians, would be an easy 5-star

### 5/5 — Perfect Alternative to Urgent Care- Even when out of state!

*2026-08-16, version 4.102.0*

On-Demand video visits are worth the membership alone! Easy consultation, prescriptions sent quickly via e-RX to my preferred pharmacy- all without the wait times of in-person clinics. I’ve used this platform in my home state of Oregon, and also while traveling in Nashville, TN. I love that it provides the member with access to care nationwide and at any time. I personally have a PCP for both myself and my children but use this for urgent care visits on weekends when needed for both myself and my 6 year old. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — I am heard.

*2026-08-15, version 4.102.0*

I am very impressed with the providers here with One Medical. Thank you for all that you do.
