One More Shot chose an animated video format so I went with it. The results were nothing short of amazing! But here’s the downside, that one minute video cost $42 to make. You can imagine how expensive it would be to make these on the regular, especially full length videos. Unfortunately for the average creator the cost is just too prohibitive. Once the price comes down on these types of apps I will definitely use them. The character didn’t look like me, so I spent additional tokens making revisions. After finally getting through the setup process, I discovered that generating the actual music video required over 5,000 more tokens than I had remaining. The real cost of creating a video is not made clear upfront. Instead, the app encourages you to spend tokens at multiple stages before revealing the enormous cost of the final generation. What should have been a fun creative experience turned into a frustrating money pit. Proceed with caution unless you’re prepared to spend significantly more than you initially. I spent $20 just to find out that I have to spend $100 just to see the video then if I have to edit the video it’ll have to be another hundred dollars to buy more tokens to edit. Just take your first $20 and go buy a scratch ticket. When you start to make a video, they ask you to buy a subscription but do not mention the costs… When I bought the subscription, it asked me to add more credits. When I bought them, it did not add the extra credits to my purchase. Then I decided this was not the app for me. Therefore I attempted to cancel and they had a big notice that came up that said you will “ lose” your credits if you cancel. Then once everything is setup it asks you to pay well I’ll start with $20’s you know just to help out with paying for the technology. Then it generates everything NOPE it wants $100’s to create the music video and all I wanted to do was try it out $20’s yes that would have been fine to charge to test it out but then an additional $100’s just to test it out no thank you. So if you want to test it before you buy it that will be $120’s please.
