One to One Secret Chat is a private messenger built for exactly one conversation: yours and one other person's. Everything you send is encrypted on your device before it leaves. Our servers only ever store ciphertext — we cannot read your messages, open your photos, or listen to your calls. That is a property of the design, not a promise. HOW IT WORKS Your device generates an encryption key pair and keeps the private half in the Keychain. It never leaves your phone. You pair with one person using a six-character code, your devices exchange public keys, and from then on every message is sealed with a key only the two of you can derive. WHAT YOU GET • Encrypted text messages • Encrypted photos, videos and files — even the file name and size are encrypted • Take a photo or video and send it straight from the app • Unsend a message within two minutes — it disappears from both phones • Encrypted voice and video calls, sent directly between the two devices • Native full-screen incoming calls with a real ringtone • Safety code verification, so you can confirm nobody is in the middle • Read receipts and typing indicators • Available in 25 languages CALLS ARE PEER-TO-PEER Voice and video travel directly between the two phones, protected by DTLS-SRTP. We can see which two accounts are paired, when messages were sent, and when calls started and ended. We cannot see any content. There are no ads, no trackers and no analytics SDKs in this app. SUBSCRIPTION Text messaging is free, forever. Placing voice and video calls requires a Secret Calls subscription, with the first month free. Answering a call is always free, even without a subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
