## What is One Wish Willow?

Some wishes deserve to be completed with care. Some words are difficult to say in the moment. Entrust a wish or something from the heart to time, then open it on a day you choose together—when both of you may be ready to hear what was difficult to say before.

One Wish Willow is a digital keepsake time capsule you complete with your own hands. A wish made alone, or wishes and voice messages exchanged with someone important, can be preserved through the ritual. In two-person mode, the exchange proceeds only after both people choose the same opening time. What each person receives is sealed behind a countdown and cannot be viewed early. When the agreed moment arrives, the lock can open, letting your future selves meet who you are today.

Solo wishes stay on your device by default, while two-person wishes reach each other through the exchange method you choose. Only content you explicitly save enters your private iCloud Wish Vault, where it becomes a private digital memory asset you control. What stays and what is deleted remain your decision.

One Wish Willow turns a wish into a ritual you can finish with your own hands. Open the box, draw out the willow, then write, record, or keep text and voice together.

For one
No sharing and no explanation required. Complete the whole ritual on your own, from making and confirming the wish to breaking the willow by hand.

Solo mode keeps the one-wish rule. Before a wish is sealed, fully close and reopen the app to start over. After a wish is sealed, the app does not offer a Wish Again action. To clear that wish and begin again, delete and reinstall the app; this also removes any local content that was not saved to Wish Vault.

For two
You and one other person each make a wish on your own phone first. After choosing how to exchange, continue making the wish normally. The phones do not need to be close while you prepare the wish and choose an opening time. Bring them together only when the app says it is time to exchange. If you are apart, use iCloud remote exchange instead.

Two-person mode works differently. After the other person’s wish is revealed, Wish Again starts a new round after confirmation. The current ritual result is replaced, and anything not saved to Wish Vault will no longer be available from that screen.

The exchange continues only after both people choose the same opening time. Once the wishes and recordings reach both devices, each person completes the breaking ritual on their own phone. Afterward, what each person receives remains locked. It can be unlocked only after the countdown ends and the agreed opening time arrives.

You choose where a wish belongs
Solo wishes stay on your device by default. An exchange is never saved to Wish Vault automatically. Only content you explicitly choose to “Save to iCloud” enters your private iCloud Wish Vault, for up to 10 wishes. If you choose iCloud remote exchange, the wish is sent to the other person through iCloud.

Privacy and purchase
When reviewing a wish face to face, the content is hidden by default and shown only when you choose to reveal it. Microphone permission is requested only when recording is used. Full access is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

iCloud remote exchange and Wish Vault require iCloud and a working network. If iCloud is unavailable or storage is full, those features may not complete.

In a world where everything can arrive instantly, some words are difficult to say in the moment. Some feelings become clearer only after emotions have settled. Entrust a wish or something from the heart to time, and let your future selves hear what remained unsaid today.

Write a wish, record what you want to say, or let words and your voice arrive together. The exchange proceeds only after both people choose the same opening time. What each person receives is then sealed behind a countdown and cannot be viewed early. When the agreed moment arrives, the lock can be opened and you can discover the wish or voice message the other person left for you.

This update also gives wishes a place to remain. Solo content stays on your device by default. Only wishes you explicitly choose to save enter your private iCloud Wish Vault. Nothing is saved there automatically; every keepsake is chosen by you and can be recovered and revisited later.
