### 2/5 — Too basic

*2026-08-15, version 3.47.2*

For an expensive piece of kit like our Urura Sarara, this app adds nothing beside being able to turn the AC on/off remotely.
It doesn’t even track power usage, which is bonkers as it is shown on the remote.

### 2/5 — Hit and Miss Operation

*2026-08-13*

The app worked beautifully in the past to control our wall mounted AC units. Recently though, the on/off control is a hit and miss affair. The app does not respond in real-time and sometimes shows the opposite status and you end up making the same command again.

Wifi is good and this happens against two units in different locations. Its a recent problem with the app.

Update: seems like the hit and miss is a coding error. When you have multiple controls such as remote control handset and mobile app. Seems like the full command set is sent with each individual adjustment and this is not reflected in the other controls. There should be a mechanism which instantly pulls the current settings to the app and remote controls so all are in sync no matter which is used.

### 3/5 — Very confusing

*2026-08-11, version 3.47.2*

Despite tagline of always in control, the app is not clear and simple to use. Not flexible enough to be able to meet needs. Despite using holiday mode, seems to use too much energy to heat water when not at home for several weeks

### 4/5 — WiFi misery

*2026-07-29, version 3.47.2*

MMI connectivity is a misery. Does not support WPK3

### 4/5 — Still nugs

*2026-07-23, version 3.47.2*

Keeps turning on powerful mode on my AC units when I swipe up or close the app.
Updating the temperature takes a while to refresh and doesn't display immediately.
Then it will refresh to what you actually set the temperature to.
Seems weirdly implemented!

### 3/5 — Bonne télécommande, mais une expérience logicielle décevante

*2026-07-23*

### 3/5 — The app is ok so far. Connecting the units to the app is soul destroying

*2026-06-23, version 3.47.1*

If your installers connect to the app for you then the app functionality is fine. However with my last Daikin air con system I had to reconnect them a number of times for various reasons, changed Internet, app updates etc, till I finally gave up trying. I’ve just installed the same units in my new house, the first unit only took about 15 minutes and 2 attempts. The second unit took 40 minutes and 5/6 attempts. I’m considering the 3rd unit with dread whilst writing this review.

### 3/5 — Too many bugs

*2026-06-23, version 3.47.1*

Great App but frequently crashes & then have issues logging back in

### 3/5 — App is down

*2026-06-22, version 3.47.1*

The whole app system is down again. Cannot connect to gateway, token not valid, etc. please fix as we are having a heatwave currently !!

### 2/5 — Availability issues

*2026-06-22, version 3.47.1*

The app goes down rather frequently. Most recently was an issue with the gateway timing out (no it isn’t my internet).

### 2/5 — Not great

*2026-06-22, version 3.47.1*

This is a very basic app to control very expensive air con units. It constantly loses signal with the units and getting them loaded back up is not easy at all. When you use the app to switch units off there is a time lag so you press the off button and the app shows it’s back on even though it’s switching off. Tonight there is no signal to the server and all my units are on in my children’s bedrooms so I can’t check the temp or see if they need switching off without waking them. Had these units since 2023 and the app has never been good. Shame because I was considering Samsung units and to be honest wish I had gone with them over Daikin

### 2/5 — Good design but just generally poor

*2026-06-22, version 3.47.1*

Constantly getting logged out and randomly not being allowed to log back in. Sometimes I have to completely reset my device. The overall design and function is good enough for me but the errors are just very irritating.

### 2/5 — Last update breaks WiFi stability

*2026-06-21, version 3.47.1*

Latest firmware update keeps making all 4 of my units show an intermittent network connection error. Very frustrating

### 3/5 — Good but please add Timer Function

*2026-06-16, version 3.47.1*

The app is generally quite good.. though it’s missing a timer function eg to turn off after X time. The schedule function does not allow for this adhoc timer ability.
Simple to do.. please add it

### 2/5 — Very basic (controlling EDLA06E2V3)

*2026-06-15*

For my air to water system it is very basic. I can’t amend or even see my heating schedule. I can’t boost the heating for a preset period, I have to increase and then later decrease flow temperature. I can’t boost hot water other than by triggering the immersion heater and then subsequently cancelling the immersion. If I know in advance that I’ll need more hot water I should be able to use heat pump heating to boost. Recent versions no longer show external temperature. There is no way to monitor COP. The granularity of energy consumption is very poor. (500W steps per 2 hours)
If using the app to manage other users it would be useful to see when they last logged on and even what they did.
Edit 2026:
I am getting update firmware messages in the app for the user interface (presumably the control screen on the wall) but it consistently fails to load, even when I have followed their linked “help”. I suspect my firewall but the site delivering the firmware is not published and ∴ cannot be added to my white list.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t support countdown timers

*2026-08-15, version 3.47.2*

The is somehow not intuitive to use, especially on schedule rule, e.g. doesn’t support countdown timers. It has complex weekly schedule that I gave up.
Other issues:
1. The energy consumption showed is way below the real usage
2. It does not sync with remote control (switch on by remote and off by app)
3. Current settings are not sync correctly on multiple users

### 1/5 — Frustrated

*2026-08-12, version 3.47.2*

This is the most complicated set up process I have ever come across. One unit eventually connected after a great deal of time and messing about. But the second unit did not connect at all, despite attempting both connection methods of WPS and manual key numbers. Can only use the app to remotely manage One AC unit out of 3!: next to useless. Hope this is not a reflection of the equipment.

### 1/5 — Connection issues

*2026-06-24, version 3.47.2*

Have to revert to the remote most of the time. Connection keeps dropping.

### 1/5 — Extremely poor

*2026-06-22, version 3.47.1*

Doesn’t work well

### 1/5 — Not working now

*2026-06-22, version 3.47.1*

Heatwave and the app isn’t working so can’t turn on units

### 1/5 — Shocking

*2026-06-22, version 3.47.1*

Just keeps throwing me out lately nothing but issues with this clunky useless app that isn’t reliable can’t login again tonight as 504 bad gateway error message it’s a joke
Wished I had got a different make ! Of air conditioner

### 1/5 — Awful

*2026-06-22, version 3.47.1*

Useless

### 1/5 — Awful app

*2026-06-07, version 3.45.4*

Got a new build house which had a Daikin Heat Pump with a gateway supposedly for online control.
Nope.
App is dreadful and doesn’t find the gateway. I’m fairly techy and comfortable using devices and Apps - this is an awful app and interface. Avoid.

### 1/5 — Firmware update makes less reliable

*2026-05-31, version 3.45.4*

After recent firmware update my units keep becoming unreachable or I am told to power cycle them.

Setting of temperature has never been very good - auto mode shoots past target.

Really hope this gets resolved

### 1/5 — Absolute Garbage

*2026-05-27, version 3.45.4*

I install solar panels, batteries and Air conditioning, and this is the worst app and worst bit of software I have had to work with.

It does not work. Change settings and they instantly revert back, have to log out and back in most days, can’t add units or update them. Terrible

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

lässt sich schnell und einfach einrichten, ist übersichtlich und alle notwendigen Funktionen lassen sich schnell bedienen.

### 5/5 — App usage

*2026-07-22, version 3.47.2*

So far found the app easy and clear to use. Easily shared app with additional user. Would be good to be able control the brightness of the light on the air con unit from the app rather than just be able to do so from the actual remote control.
