I really enjoy shopping on OneDayOnly, they have great copy so that gives me my morning entertainment. The app can sometimes be a bit buggy, but it’s still the most convenient option. The deals are well laid out, but you do need to know what things cost because sometimes the discount isn’t as much as you’d think.

The app works well- clean layout, easy to use, and it is quick to load. I like that it is not overloaded with unnecessary features, just straight to the deals. Everything is simple to find, and checking out is pretty seamless.

Only small issue is the delivery tracking could be a bit more detailed once you have placed an order, but otherwise, no real complaints. If you are into daily deals, the app does exactly what it should.

We bought a tooth brush that was advertised as electric tooth brush. When it came I tried putting on and it didn’t come on. I opened the head and tried charging it and still it wouldn’t come on. We decided to return as it’s not working. The tooth brush was more then R400, they came to collect it after almost 2 months of waiting and they charged me fees for delivery. And when they received  they said the quality control decided they can’t take it as the box is open. And they returned it back to me not working. They didn’t even have the Curtisy to change it with a one that is working. 
The tooth brush is poorly made and doesn’t even worth R60 in Chinese store . 
Not only that they over charged me for a brocken item but they actually retuned it and not accepting my return. Like I am suppose to know if the item work from the look to  it,  without opening the box. ( I didn’t use the brush because it didn’t even go on ).
I will never use them again.

I logged a return of an item (included photos of the item and barcodes etc.) that One Day Only made a mistake with on 26 September, then, sent a follow-up email on the 1 October only to receive emails from their team that they will be in contact with us within 24 hours!
Well…it’s been almost 24 Days, yet alone Hours and we still haven’t received feedback or heard from the team, other than their reply to my first email that they will collect the item and reimburse us for the mistake.
I am now disgusted with their customer service and Will Not be supporting them anytime soon!!! 😡😡😡

Items advertised are not always what you get. Products are presented to you via the app with pretty pictures and sometimes asterisks below the images to inform you that the product you will receive ‘might not be the same size/colour’. But when you get a product that is advertised to have certain specifications that doesn’t match even half of what the product page claims are - that is a problem. 
As for the returns process, endless emails with requests for images followed by more emails stating that they’re in touch with the supplier is counter productive. The consumer laws are clear about returns and false advertising. This company has taken us for a ride for the last time. Avoid at ALL costs.

I have had horrendous experiences with this company. Their delivery time takes forever, and their 5-10 day delivery period is never met. When you follow up on your late delivery they ensure you it is on its way, just to cancel your order a few hours later blaming the supplier. Then they award you a discount voucher that does even work! After stating the obvious in emails and screenshots they tell you sorry it “works now”!

I am currently waiting for an order that exceeds their 10-day waiting time and I haven’t heard from them or Pargo after a few emails! After this issue is resolved I am deleting my account and this app! Do some research on other e-commerce sites/apps and you will find the same prices or even better and at least their shipping is up to standard. Worse e-commerce company/app ever.

I placed an order on 8th of April...items were delivered piecemeal. On 21 April at 15:30, I received a note saying that their courier had been hijacked and they now didn’t have the stock item. @ 16:00 they advised that a refund would be processed. The item they’ve not delivered was the reason I started the order in the first place. There has been no response to my emails yet on this matter...probably better to get your stuff from another source...

I’ve been shopping on one day only for years. Returns are usually slow to process but they do get done, eventually. I recently bought an expensive and huge couch that arrived damaged. I logged a return immediately and received some correspondence about sending packing so I can pack it (really.? I didn’t unpack the thing and it’s still in plastic. But apparently a carton being sent to repack the nearly 100kg couch!). There is no further communication and I have these huge piece of furniture blocking my living space, still in plastic and no idea what’s happening. The deals are sometimes awesome, but returns are an essential component of e-commerce. This seller fails in that.

Avid fan of onedayonly and regular shopper. I have however had some recently bad experiences but my rating is actually just on the app for now. I do however the the sense that things are slipping. The app keeps dropping me out, which might be okay once or twice, if I could start where I browsed from. And if it didn’t happen repeatedly in what should have been 1 session. App is very buggy, and images aren’t loading fast anymore. I usually only get a few minutes to hop on this app so it’s frustrating when that moment doesn’t work.

New update on iOS came in before their 13 day specials. The iOS version is slow, freezes up and unexpectedly closes. The 13 day specials also don’t show up on the phone until it’s finished. Which is highly unfair. I was able to verify this because I also have a Samsung device which the specials show up on a whole 2 minutes before it does on this one.

I barely rate apps but I’m here to win a PS5! Competition aside, the app is great and the actual service from OneDayOnly has always been a favourite of mine. For me, it’s a patience game, you need to know what you want and it’s normal price and then keep an eye on the deals. If the timing is right you can get a great bargain.

I never thought it would be so easy to save!! They have so many options which guarantees that there is something for you. I mean they have electronics, gaming ware, kitchenware, outdoor stuff, pet stuff, clothing, general day to day items, home decorations and furniture, alcohol and so much more. There’s so much to choose from and you can get more than you would’ve in store due to the discounts. 

The app is so comfortable and easy to use, I have no issue navigating around the app. The layout is also very nice, not overwhelming you with information but definitely catching your attention.
