The long-term cost is not worth it. *2026-07-19* I bought this GPS tracker for around ₹1,800. On top of that, I had to pay ₹500 separately for installation. The first year’s recharge was under ₹1,000. So, my initial ownership cost was already around ₹3,000–₹3,500. After completing the first year, I was shocked to see that the renewal now costs ₹1,990 for just one year. That’s almost double what I paid earlier for the subscription. At this price, it makes absolutely no financial sense to continue using this tracker. For around ₹3,000, you can buy a brand-new GPS tracker from other brands that includes 2 years of subscription, a new warranty, and comparable or even better features. This pricing model feels like the company is taking advantage of existing customers. Once the device is installed, they seem to assume people won’t want the hassle of replacing the hardware, so they can keep increasing the renewal charges. Don’t judge this product by its purchase price alone. Calculate the total cost of ownership. After one year, you’ll end up paying almost ₹2,000 every year just to keep the tracker functional. I won’t be renewing mine. I’d rather replace the entire tracker with another brand that offers better long-term value than continue paying such an expensive subscription. ### 1/5 — Completely Useless Tracker & Pathetic Customer Support! Avoid It! *2026-06-12* Highly disappointed with the OneLap GPS tracker. It fails at its most basic job: Location Tracking. Inaccurate Location & False Alerts: The vehicle is literally parked right in front of my eyes, and the app constantly spams me with "Exited from Safezone" notifications. It’s incredibly annoying and makes the geo-fencing feature absolutely useless. Clueless Helpdesk Support: I have raised this issue 8 to 10 times now. The customer care team has zero technical knowledge or solution. Every time I call, they give the same generic, scripted replies: "Sir, restart kardo," "SIM nikal ke dubara lagao," "Humne yahan se command bhej di hai, ab chal jayega." But the reality is, the issue never gets resolved. Zero Accountability: I am tired of lodging complaints. I even tried raising the issue on Twitter (X) to get their attention, but they completely ignored it—zero response. If you care about your vehicle's security, do not waste your money on OneLap. Their hardware is faulty, their software is buggy, and their after-sales support is non-existent. Completely frustrated! ### 1/5 — You are too late *2025-07-25, version 4.7.2* If you are seeing this review it means you already bought of those onelap dashcams. Well sorry to disappoint you, these people will take forever to get a fix and keep you in loop making you believe they will fix it. I bought a dashcam in February and now its July and still not functional. I have had several emergency situations where i needed the footage but I couldn’t get it due to their buggy app and dashcam. If you need a reliable dashcam, go for something else. Do not fall into the trap like I did. I will be registering a case with consumer court soon. ### 1/5 — Froud device *2024-10-16, version 4.0.7* I purchased this device last year, after my free subscription expired I purchased a new 5 year subscription, but after few days my services was stopped and no one support from onlap, u cant' contact there customer support, they only answered when you try purchase the product, after free subscription they can't answer your call and msg, I try from last 3 mnt but, they can't support, these guys are Froud don't waste your money to purchased this product. ### 1/5 — Deduction of money from account but app didn’t recharged *2023-08-17, version 2.8.0* मैंने आज अपने onelap wireless device के लिए 5 year 5990/- rupees वाला subscription choose करा,then मैंने onelap app में पेमेंट वाले सेक्शन में जा कर phonepe upi का ऑप्शन सेलेक्ट करा उसके बाद मैंने phonepe app से 5990/- rupees Ka payment कर दिया उसके बाद जैसे ही मैं onelap app में वापिस आया वहाँ से अपने आप पेज वापिस हो गया और मेरे अकाउंट से पैसे deduct हो चुके थे लेकिन मेरा device रिचार्ज नहीं हुआ और ना ही मुझे इनसे support मिल रहा है।।कस्टमर सपोर्ट के नाम पर यह लोग one person will contact you as soon as possible and your ticket is raised का ही सपोर्ट दे रहें हैं।।।।।बस मेरी आप सभी लोगों से गुजारिश है इस डिवाइस को अगर आप ले चुकें हैं तो subscription ख़त्म होने के बाद दुबारा ना लैं वरना मेरी तरह आपका भी पैसा बर्बाद हो जाएगा।।।। ### 1/5 — Antitheft feature is not as expected *2022-06-23, version 1.0.37* Why we need to enable again and again the antitheft feature to make it work. one more thing this feature works only for one safezone and you dont need to turn it on again and again, but if you have more than one safezone then after your car lock you need to enable this safety feature. This very annoying. When talking to support person they always say as per users demand we made this feature as optional. Give an option to disable this feature if antitheft is on, it should be worked for all safezone without opening your app. ### 2/5 — Used to be a great app but not anymore. *2024-12-03* Using Onelap Go from 3 years. Device is good and sturdy. But, with time there app is getting poorer. There new app is not responsive, doesn’t show live location properly. Than in next phase, notifications stopped and somehow notifications started again but i get notifications with a delay of almost an hour many times. Now, a new problem, it has stopped showing the track multiple times. It shows 0km, i have to restart the app multiple times to see historical data and even current day data. App many times shows that i am in Africa and when i restart the app, it shows correct location. They are charging hefty annual charges than why one will keep using their services. Looking to switch to some other device now. ### 2/5 — Worst device & incapable Customer service *2023-07-18* Myself using a OneLap Plus with Ignition cutoff feature. The device worked perfectly fine & very accurately for a month. Then noticed in morning the device sends ignition notification accurate and within seconds but connection establishment with gps satellites are delayed. The car travels distances approx half kilometres and then the gps connects and show’s accuracy. The geo fencing function is a waste in this case as the car is already moved out of the range. Now slowly the connection establishment time has increased and now takes 2 to 3km time. The customer service is waste, they are unable to resolve this & hv just kept an ticket open since 3 months. Pathetic, and would not continue using post subscription. ### 3/5 — Bugs fixex and Improvement Required *2025-08-09* Bugs 1. Playback stops not added correctly • Every ignition ON and OFF event should be recorded as a stop in playback. • The actual vehicle speed at each playback point is missing and should be displayed. 2. App crash • The app sometimes crashes unexpectedly; cause needs investigation. 3. Playback track rendering issue • In playback mode, tracks are incorrectly drawn with straight lines, ignoring turns. • Live tracking displays the route correctly, so the issue seems specific to playback rendering logic. 4. Shared device notification restriction • When a device is shared with “Full Access,” the shared user cannot view its notifications. 5. Midnight stats reset delay • At 12:00 AM, stats show as 0 for all metrics and update only after some time. ⸻ Improvements 1. Enhanced playback ride segmentation • Playback should show individual ride details for the day instead of merging all into one continuous map. • Implement a logic: if the stop duration exceeds a threshold x minutes, count it as a separate ride in playback. • Display the vehicle speed at each point along the playback route. 2. Downloadable reports • Add an option to download reports based on different scenarios/filters (e.g., trips, stops, speed violations, alerts). 3. Main screen map reset after ride completion • After a ride is complete, the main map should only show the current location, not the entire day’s playback track. • If the vehicle is stopped for 5–10 minutes, store that as the end of the current ride and start a new ride when movement resumes. ### 3/5 — Not completely satisfied *2024-09-23* I have been using this product since two months and I must say that tracking accuracy is good but there are some bugs in this application. For example, I’m turn off the speed limit notifications off but it doesn’t work at all and I still get that notification. Secondly this happens 5 out of 10 times that whenever I open the application, it asks me to log in again. I shut the app and reopen it then it doesn’t ask me to log in.
