But right now the save to files option doesn’t always work and when I save it to photos it saves usually as a JPG and has a background and I only ever pick for it to be a transparent background. Aside from that? The app IS perfect and it’s affordable. So that’s all. You can try uninstalling and then reinstalling the application. ### 1/5 — Latest Update Ruined User Experience *2024-11-27* I was using this app every single day to make mockup images for screenshots that I would upload to Canva for further editing, but after the latest update, I can’t do that anymore because for some reason the PNG images now exceed 50MB! This was never the case before. Additionally, the latest update isn’t as intuitive. It added more steps to select screenshots and get output. You can try uninstalling and then reinstalling the application. ### 1/5 — 🤮👎🏻terrible app *2024-11-17, version 3.9.19* The app is still horribly inconvenient and screams that it was cobbled together in five minutes with no care—made out of sticks and mud as a quick cash grab aimed at fooling users. Mockups for iPad screens still don’t support landscape orientation, and the 3D rotation distorts the device so much that only an idiot would upload such an atrocity to the App Store to represent their app. And the cherry on top? The developers completely ignore user feedback, clearly assuming that people will swallow it anyway. Don’t buy this trash—that’s the only way to make the developers understand that they need to respect user opinions. . The Frame (𝘛𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦) Quality is superb, as I’m almost certain they utilized the Apple Design Resources available to the public. This allows them to utilize the very generous sizing/scale of the frames themselves to always give you the best & sharpest quality outputs for the devices themselves. The quality of the image(s) being framed do not drop in quality whatsoever (𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘮𝘺 𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘶𝘴𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯), though when Scaling or Rotating/Skewing the input image(s) and/or the device frames, the quality can suffer a decent amount, 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺'𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢 𝘳𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘱𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. Luckily Apple included some Mock-up Templates in the public resource bundles that display the certain devices in an alternative perspective (𝘴𝘬𝘦𝘸𝘦𝘥) but the input images will still have slight deformities, jagged edges, blurring or loss of overall quality. Also included are a wide-range of alternative mock-up styles that aren’t Apple-Based. From Framed on a Wall to Custom Presentation-Style views! They’ve even included 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗰𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 by means of Internal URL Schemes which are documented in-app on the settings page(s)! For individuals, such as myself, who utilized or are 𝗢𝗯𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 with creating Shortcuts in their downtime will know that it’s incredibly thoughtful to include that functionality out of the box! If only more developers included these in their documentation and/or settings panels! That being said, would be a step in the right direction to fully implement Shortcuts Actions that show up in the Shortcut’s App by default to allow for novice users to utilize the app in their own shortcuts. Overall, I have found a fair amount of usage out of 𝗢𝗻𝗲𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 and I do hope to see it continue to receive updates, additional content and new features in the near future, as it has a tremendous amount of potential. Included below will be a few of my personal complaints, suggestions and/or feature requests! 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝗱𝗼 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲! — In the Templates Section, a few of the selections that aren’t utilizing Apple Product Frames include Text with “𝗢𝗻𝗲𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻" as the initial text among other things. Currently it isn’t possible to make any sort of adjustments to said text nor is it even possible (𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘺 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘭𝘦𝘥𝘨𝘦) to remove it entirely. I’d love to use them more but as it is now, it’s more of a h addle then anything to then have to remove the text through Markup adjustments or other means. — Improve upon the manipulation of the Input Image(s) when making perspective adjustments or utilizing a skewed frame/template, though as I mentioned previously it would most likely be a be undertaking. — Allow for the end-user to make adjustments to the input image(s) once they’ve be set in the Frame/Template, as from what I could tell you can’t adjust the used Image(s), only adjust the Overall Scale, Rotation, Shift, and Canvas Sizes. Also, to further improve on that request, allow for any of the sliders to be adjusted through Number/Text Input (𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯-𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘬𝘦𝘺𝘣𝘰𝘢𝘳𝘥) to allow for more precise control over their values. — Include the few custom-colored frames utilized in some of the included templates as options in the default selections. — Possibly implement a feature set to allow creation and sharing of user-made templates. Sharing could be done with a internal system that allows for export of specific type of settings info file (𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘹𝘮𝘭 𝘰𝘳 𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘺𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘴) that could be shared with by saving to a Cloud Service, Generating a specialized QR Code or a special webpage or full website that allowed users to share and comment on the many different templates. ### 5/5 — Great App - Best I’ve used. *2020-10-29* I’ve used many Mock-up apps and this is by far the best I’ve used. It’s quick, smooth and saved me so much time.
