Create an event, print one QR code, and forget about it. Your guests scan it and start shooting in seconds — no download, no account, no sign-up. ### 1.6 — 2026-09-04

Print-ready invites, and a smoother start.

• Posters to print — four ready-made designs with your event's code, reachable from Invite. Good for a lobby noticeboard, a dinner table, or handing off to whoever owns the printer.
• The film now opens with a one-tap prompt to send the gallery link to everyone who wasn't holding a phone.
• Fixed: creating a film with every default left alone (free tier, tonight, ten frames) now works on the first tap of Create film.

A tidier camera, and the free tier front and centre.

• The film-advance arrow on the camera is an indicator, not a button — it stopped looking like one, and now sits beside the frame counter where the rest of the film's state lives.
• Free still covers up to 10 guests with 10 frames each, which is most gatherings.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-25

Small things that were getting in the way.

• The join code now hangs off the camera. When somebody asks how to get on the film, you're holding the camera — so it's there, not three screens away. Guests can pull it up too.
• Name a film and it finishes the thought: type "Priya" and it offers "Priya's Birthday", "Priya's Wedding".
• New pricing. Bigger films cost more than they did and still cost less than anything comparable; the free tier is unchanged at 10 guests.

### 1.3 — 2026-08-21

The frames you already took, and an invite you can arrange.

• Add photos from your camera roll. If somebody handed you the QR an hour into the night, the pictures you'd already taken can still go on the film — they cost a frame, same as the shutter.
• Arrange the invite. Drag the title and QR clear of a face, and pinch the code larger or smaller.
• Covers show up the moment you save them, on the event and on the invite, instead of a beat later.
• Opening an invite you've already joined takes you straight to the film, rather than asking your name again.
• It says "event" now, not "party" — it was never only for parties.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-20

A faster setup, and a long list of fixes.

• Creating a film is two steps now. The name, date, guests and frames all sit on one screen — and when something's missing it says so, instead of leaving the button greyed out with no explanation.
• Fixed: the free tier wouldn't select unless you picked a paid size and switched back to it.
• Once a film exists, inviting people leads the screen — one tap to the QR code and the link.
• Revealing early waits until there's at least one frame on the film, so a film can't be closed for good with nothing in it.
• The Lock Screen countdown counts in days now, instead of running the hours up past 24.
• Cover photos no longer hide your event's name, are framed in the shape they're actually shown in, and update everywhere without restarting the app.
• Guests can report a photo or block whoever posted it, and the host hears about it right away.
• Fixed a refresh that could empty your home shelf, and another that could lock a host out of their own event.
• The keyboard gets out of the way properly while you're naming a film.
