### 5/5 — OneStep wonder

*2022-08-17, version 2.4.0*

This app is great I was surprised how well online/app physio worked. Of course the success is not just about the app but the physiotherapists who work with OneStep to help you recover. And my therapist was knowledgeable and caring.

### 5/5 — Recover on the go!

*2022-08-05*

Well I spent most of my time in recovery at home, but-there became a point where I needed to be able to travel for work and do physical therapy by teleconference in my hotel rooms. I googled it and found this app, and has been the answers to my prayers! I get individualized one on one treatment. five stars!! they are never too busy to know the ins and outs of my case each time we speak they can modify each treatment/exercise/therapy session to accommodate for pain and stretching. This was a real life changer. I love the service! Would definitely recommend

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2022-08-01, version 2.3.11*

I love how I can look at all different aspects of my gait pattern! The technology is unmatched.

### 5/5 — If in doubt - try! I can’t recommend the programme/the app more highly!

*2022-07-31, version 2.3.11*

I am so glad - in spite of reservations about a) doing something purely for my own benefit and b) doing a physical therapy programme remotely - that I forged ahead.

The difference it has made to me, in such an incredibly short space of time - and is continuing to make - has so much exceeded anything I could have hoped for.

I feel (and felt from Day 1) hugely supported, encouraged and energised by the programme itself and the ease of use, through the app. To have something so tailor-made for one’s own personal abilities and situation is phenomenally empowering.

To have a personal, dedicated, knowledgeable and experienced Physical Therapist interacting in such a consistently supportive and encouraging way, on a daily basis? Incredible. I have no words good enough to describe the benefits, positives and strengths of such a resource.

I would more than highly recommend One Step (and my wonderful therapist, Hadas).

If in doubt, I’d strongly encourage you to give it a try. I very much doubt you’d be disappointed. You have nothing to lose - and potentially so much to gain.

### 5/5 — Made for convenience

*2022-07-15*

It’s a bit of a learning curve with people who are not very tech savvy, but in the long run it saved me hours and money, and was just as much as what I got an outpatient physical therapy. My therapist explained it to me very well how this can be beneficial for certain populations, she was also available to answer any of my question or concerns and got back to me always.

### 5/5 — Trying OneStep

*2022-07-08, version 2.3.9*

After a pain management anesthesia MD diagnosed radiculopathy of L3L4L5 and gave me PT that did nothing and. sports Ortho said patellar malalignment and gave me PT that did nothing, I saw the OneStep site and decided to try the free 14 day trial. Allie, the Doctorate in PT worked up a 10 day set of exercises that are helping. I will keep at it and expect to mainly relieve my pain. Certainly worth a try at a very reasonable price compared to even the co-pay for in situ PT.

### 5/5 — Great app and service.

*2022-06-29*

This app is great. Helps show me how I am walking and helps me achieve my health and fitness goals.
I also love the ability to talk with my licensed Physical Therapist via the app and via video for check ins and updates to my program.
I also get reminders when I have slacked off a bit to reach out or start up again. It is like having a personal Physicial Therapist living with you. But you don’t have to provide room and board. Ha ha.

### 5/5 — Love this app! PT approved!

*2022-06-29*

As a PT, I have loved this app for my patients’ ability to perform a routine on their own time, get reminders to do their routine, and get frequent feedback/access to a PT on questions that come up during the day. This app truly makes PT more accessible for everyone.

### 5/5 — Noticeable improvement after a month.

*2022-06-28, version 2.3.8*

Joined One Step following a recommendation from my GP practice two months ago. The care and support is relaxed but thorough. The routines are individually tailored to you and your circumstances, and can often be done without the need for props and accessories. After a month I noticed a reduction in knee pain, improved muscle tone and generally 'feeling well'. You can track and monitor progress with a variety of metrics, all online and available to you when you need them. Ill be sticking with One Step, thanks to all involved.

### 5/5 — A PT in your pocket

*2022-06-27*

I have been working for OneStep for 3 months now and can honestly say it’s allowed me to provide the highest quality of care to my patients. All too often, PTs are overworked and can’t provide individualized care to keep sup with the demands of insurance based payments. At OneStep, I am able to isolate my time to each patient to ensure their needs are met and questions are answered. If you are tired of not getting results in traditional PT care or are just too busy to have given it a try, OneStep is for you! Hope to work with you soon!

### 5/5 — Love OneStep!

*2022-06-27*

I first joined OneStep because I had had my second hip replacement and I felt like my walking gait wasn’t even. The walk analysis helped me to see what I could improve. I love getting ten new days of exercises from my PT as soon as I finish the last batch. My PT’s have been responsive via messaging in the app, answering questions and adjusting exercises that were too hard or too easy. And then we have a Zoom call once a month to review progress and for the PT to see me do some of the moves. I have gained a great deal of strength and mobility and love following along with the app when doing the exercises. Since there is a timer built in there is no counting, the app tells me when to start and when to move to the next exercise. I find the app really motivating to see what I am accomplishing! And the time commitment is under 15 minutes a day. I can’t believe how much better I can move. I have recommended it to friends, family, and my doctors! My daughter is a PT and she approves !

### 5/5 — Quality of trading

*2022-06-18, version 2.3.7*

I’m really impressed with the program of exercises that I am going through and the method of delivery. Each exercise comes with a short video showing how it should be done. I also get ongoing advice and guidance

### 5/5 — Great App for Home PT

*2022-06-17*

This is one of the best apps for working with a real physical therapist! It has the ability to communicate back and forth with your PT and also has a BOT that sends you brief teachings. Love how my exercises are scheduled by OT through the app, love how you can rate your pain and describe its characteristic and it’s sent directly to your PT, and love how your personal PT modifies your workout accordingly. The exercises are wonderful, and I am getting stronger each day and my joints and muscles are moving better. Definitely rate this 5 star app! Would recommend it 100% and is cost effective!

### 5/5 — Fantastic app

*2022-06-01, version 2.3.6*

Great advice and connection with PT, love the follow along videos, so much cheaper then going to a clinic even with insurance, plus I had a pretty standard injury, a fractured wrist

### 5/5 — Great service

*2022-05-24, version 2.3.2*

Great service, always helpful and base exercises on individual assessment.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2022-05-19*

This exercise program has been wonderful for me. I don’t have to leave my home and can start each day , doing my program specifically designed for me.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Good concept but breaks all the time

*2023-02-25, version 2.7.5*

1. It appears that every time Apple does a new software release this app breaks and they have to release a new version.

2. Requires you turn on location tracking including allowing it to get location data from other apps.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work

*2023-02-22, version 2.7.5*

Unable to start with initial activity due to glitch in permissions settings. Support services are unresponsive. This app was offered as part of a medical procedure that cost over $5k out of pocket. Disappointed.

### 1/5 — Nope!

*2021-04-06, version 1.5.6*

Why does everything require a logon. Not putting my info ‘out there’. Garbage!!

### 2/5 — Confusing

*2023-01-29, version 2.7.1*

Data collection very opaque.

### 3/5 — User interface needs improvement

*2024-03-01*

This app has a lot of potential for facilitating the evaluation of physical therapy patients or for self-evaluation. However the user interface needs improvement. The app instructs users to place your phone either in your pocket or on your hip while taking measurements for the evaluation exercises. This introduces inaccurate measurements when the phone is placed in a pocket because the stop button can’t be accessed immediately when the timer stops. Perhaps the software developer could devise a way to start and stop the exercise timer with voice commands via Siri.

### 3/5 — Usability

*2021-05-26, version 1.5.9*

I would be able to more readily use this app if it were available on the Apple Watch. I look forward to that happening. Thank you

### 4/5 — Useful app

*2021-07-05, version 1.6.4*

Helpful in dealing with pre- and post-operative strengthening exercises and monitoring your walking. The app continues to update with improvements and the quick personal responses from physical therapists is a big plus.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2024-08-20, version 3.2.9*

I use OneStep to to measure my gait post surgery. It has given me great insight into my recovery.

### 5/5 — Great idea!

*2023-05-02, version 2.8.2*

Doing rehab when my schedule allows!

### 5/5 — This app kept me calm and got me prepped for surgery.

*2023-03-31, version 2.7.13*

Clever, easy to use app that keeps you responsible about doing PT.

## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great idea!

### 5/5 — I love my OneStep app 😊

*2022-10-14, version 2.5.1*

Fabulous app! Wonderful therapist who messages me regularly guides and advises! Worth every penny! Not only has it helped me lose weight through active daily exercise it also supports my running and walking habits and my knees and hips feel so much more flexible!

### 5/5 — Great way to do PT

*2022-09-21, version 2.4.4*

My PT is helpful, knowledgeable, and answers all my questions. I get exercise coaching for a fraction of the price and Can do it at home.

### 5/5 — Excellence in service

*2022-09-02*

OneStep has been great. After minor injuries to ankle and knee I lost a lot of mobility due to back pain. The physical therapist prescribed by my doctor focused only on my knee even when I asked for a few suggestions for my back. Conventional medicine is dictated by insurance so recovered or not I was allowed only the number of sessions deemed appropriate for a broken knee.

With OneStep I can continue affordably until I reach the goals I set for myself - being able to walk and having the ability to do simple household tasks without pain.

I never would have been able to figure out what exercises to do on my own. My physical therapist Stephanie, who has had years of experience working with athletes, has observed how I move throughout the process to see where I need to get stronger and adjusts my exercises as needed, and can swap out exercises if something is too difficult for me.

The exercises themselves take minutes a day and I appreciate being able to do them from the convenience of my home whenever I want.

If I have questions either for my physical therapist or customer service they get back to me quickly.

I’m amazed by the progress I have made and the mobility I have gained. I have started walking on a regular basis and am getting back to household chores I was unable to do for a few years like vacuuming, dishes and laundry as well as getting back to gardening which has been wonderful.

This concept is phenomenal and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

### 5/5 — Great app and platform/program
