The team is always available to answer questions as needed. The reports provide everything needed for excellent timekeeping records. Highly recommend this product for anyone wanting a low-cost, super easy tool that is extremely user friendly. One Tap app has made it easy and convenient for our students to check in and manage their attendance history. We have tried many other attendance apps, and by far, this has proven to be the simplest and most effective. One Tap app has a knowledgeable and friendly staff who are always available for scheduled Zoom calls. We love that we can request to have unique features added and personalized to our business. We will primarily just be using a checkin portion of the app by our staff not for use by the public to auto check-in which is an option that it Has. As a not-for-profit that will be using it for the purposes of attendance check-in‘s during bus charters I’m finding that the developers are easy to work with and will listen to the bugs that you find and help you get them resolved. They’re open to the feedback of ideas and sound as if they’re willing to listen and consider any tweaks that could make their product better. I will be using this with people who are not completely tech savvy and so I find its simplicity and ease of use very good for that opportunity. I am finding the ability to import large lists of people for the purposes of the simple check-in aspect of the app to be easy. I would highly recommend this app and I find that the paid versions are appropriately priced and are worth it. ### 5/5 — Best free app for check in and out so far *2023-02-09, version 7.2* As a project manager I can tell they did a great job and it has amazing features still need some improvement like parent notifications for kids or sms service ### 5/5 — Excellent for camp check in check out *2022-08-12* We wanted to switch from paper sign in sign out sheets at our 6 summer camp locations and this app was the perfect solution. You can download your rosters from your own registration system and upload an excel doc into the app from your computer. Then your camp staff can use the app on a phone or tablet to check students in with literally “One Tap.” Same with sign out. Bonus feature, you can upload a photo of each camper and there’s a “notes” section which we used to list authorized pick up persons. They worked with us to get a plan appropriate for the size of our program and are now willing to downsize the plan in the off season. This app is the solution to paperless check in. And in the off chance you need help, their support will do all they can to help. ### 5/5 — Used One Tap for 643 Students *2022-06-13* We used OneTap to help with Grad Nite for 643 students attending Grad Night at Disneyland. It was super easy to use and made it so we could easily see who had checked in. This helped us manage bus loading so that kids didn’t have to be assigned busses. ### 5/5 — Super app! *2022-05-20* We used one tap in a complicated multi day event with multiple sub events. It worked seamlessly and was very efficient at checking in people quickly and accurately. While check-in requires Wi-Fi or cell service, the app was useful even when we were in remote places without that. We used it to look up info on participants, like phone numbers, meal choices, and anything else we had in the custom fields. That is a hugely helpful feature. Probably most impressive was the tech-support. They answered every question quickly accurately and helped me use the app to its fullest potential. I had two face-to-face meetings with them and they were so committed to helping my project go smoothly. I strongly urge anyone to try to use this app in any context. It was great and simple. They quickly assessed the problem and had us back up and running in no time. Very much appreciated. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — New update is the worst *2023-08-15* All I need this for is to sign in new customers, creating a profile for them, and for them to answer a few survey questions. $25 a month and can only save 250 profiles. So every month i have to download all the profiles to my spreadsheet and delete them from the app to retain customer information. Then there was a new update recently that messed up my sign in sheet and now I’ve spent hours on end trying to fix it and it seems there company so far has no solution. Save your money I’m sure there’s a much better and cheaper option available on the iOS store. ### 1/5 — Login issues *2023-05-18, version 7.2* I have tried multiple times with multiple emails to sign up, and even change my password to see if that was the issue. Each time I try to sign up or sign in I get an error message. On my way I found a bunch of silly bugs. The help does not work. When clicking cancel in a dialog nothing happens. When remove the list it still appear. Oh. I get a account does not exist message. This is concerning as it very well does exist and I just signed in with my password on good faith. Not cool. ### 1/5 — Lot of bugs *2019-11-13, version 1.84* Every single time I try to use the app, it crashes. Last time, my guest could not check in because the kiosk mode kept loading and loading and I lost the data. ### 1/5 — App issues *2019-06-19, version 1.72* App keeps freezing when user creates profile from iPad. Sometimes errors out. I created a reoccurring event starting June 11 for every Tuesday. When I attempted to check people in for June 18th, I see it also logged them for June 11th. May be admin user error on misunderstanding of event reoccurring and need clarification. Would like to add photo to each reoccurring event and be able to post to social media. Thanks Jaime ### 2/5 — Horrible update *2024-05-02, version 30* We use this for our tutoring business and sometimes the students forget to clack in and out and we use to go back and adjust so all #were correct for the end of the month. But not the new version does not let you go back and adjust times!!! Please fix ASAP ### 2/5 — Multiple bugs in the App version *2022-04-03* Even for a “closed” list the ff issues defeats the purpose of making sure no duplicate/unauthorized attendee: a) QR scan method (Check-in only) - checks in the same person multiple times (even though the person is already checked in) and creates duplicate, triplicate person on your list (they are automatically added to the list for every check in) b) Kioks QR check in - has an opion to register and adds them to the list even though the list is closed. A few other minor issues too but the above are critical. I talked to support on this in early Feb (Yuva) who said he will check. I emailed Karsh K (in response to his welcome email) to follow-up and until now (4/3), I got no response. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great Attendance tracker with many features *2026-08-05, version 92* We are so pleased that we decided to give OneTap another try after using it a few years ago. The upgrades they’ve made have made it much easier to track our students’ attendance and time. Our students can sign themselves in and out using a QR code, and we can prevent the app from being used outside of our building. We use iPads for student check-in and check-out, and when we have events at other locations, we simply take the iPads with us so students can still scan themselves in and out. We have also established a cutoff time that prevents students from signing in after a certain time. Our mentors use the app to sign in and out as well, which has made attendance tracking much more efficient. Akash and his team are always easy to work with whenever we have questions, concerns, or need updates. Their online training manual is also a great resource. Earlier this year, they created a new report that made running our daily and monthly attendance reports much simpler, which has been a huge time-saver. We currently use OneTap for our after-school program, which meets twice a week for 32 weeks each year, and it has been a great fit for our organization. ### 5/5 — Great for School Team Sports *2025-05-21* Our track & field team decided to use an app to keep track of the attendance of our team because we had over 400 participants. We created QR codes for each event (jumps, springs, distance, throws, etc.) to keep track of where the student was practicing that day. We required them to check in and out for practices and T&F meets. The location option for checking in/out was helpful to keep the students honest. We are planning to use the app for our other sports in the Fall that have many participants (like cross country where we have over 250 participants). Setting up your roster was also easy! We stumbled on a problem today (Saturday) checking in students. All the lists disappeared for our instructor. The founder and creator called me to troubleshoot and got it back in working order.
