No Software Engineer worth their salt would have green lit this buggy mess with no use case testing. I only made it to the create profile page and encountered several errors. I use a password manager like a normal person, but i cant copy my password in….. i can copy it into the re-enter password, but when i do i cant delete it. Simply because I am not diabetic. I use it because there is a long history of diabetes in my family and I like to know what my sugar levels are doing. But, I find the device and the app too restrictive when it comes to customization. For example, it allows you to record before or after a meal. Or it lets you select an event. Carbs, stress, illness, meds, exercise, and mood. All those are fine, but I wish it would let me create my own tags. A huge one that is missing is “fasting.” It has “before meals.” OK, but that is after a fee hours after eating or longer time that goes into the fasting territory? I also don’t like that for this device you must use the app. I am a paramedic and I known plenty of older patients who don’t own smart phones and don’t care for one. People should be able to look at records and other information at the device. Also turning on the device to look at records without having to take a test. Additionally, I find that the charts lack information. Overall the device and app leave a lot to be desired. And finally, I often have trouble syncing the device to the app. Today I was not able to sync the device to the phone at all. Bluetooth is turned on, everything looks good. Got replacement after having to wait for a d=test liquid. The second meter occasionally. Gives a 400read then 5 minutes later a 300+- read then another will godown 50 points. Untreatable. When I recently added my Ac1 the entire history disappeared. The suggested cure was ineffective. Company had nothing more to say. Recently gave me a reading of 400+ so I tested again five minutes later and it went down 100 points and again five minutes later 100 points down. Recently, I entered my A1c number and the entire history disappeared. This is a nice way to get medical information to sell. Absolutely disgusted with this company. I’ve been traveling for two years and was in Vietnam, where nothing could be done and now I’m in Europe. and nothing is being done again. I would be very careful in looking at this device. Additionally, the the app sized cannot be increased by pinching the screen on mobile devices, nor does the app allow for it’s viewing in the landscape position rather than portrait thus restricting overall viewing capacity.
