## What is OnFieldHQ?

OnField is the all-in-one team management app built for youth and amateur sports clubs — no ads, no clutter, just the tools coaches, admins, and families actually need.

MANAGE YOUR ROSTER — Add athletes once and reuse them season after season. Track jersey numbers, positions, emergency contacts, and medical notes, with privacy protections built in for minors.

SCHEDULE & RSVP — Create events, track availability, and send automatic reminders so no one misses a game or practice.

LIVE SCORING & SCOREBOARDS — Keep score in real time from the sideline, with a shareable public scoreboard link for parents and fans who couldn't make it.

TEAM CHAT — Threaded team chat with reactions, replies, @mentions, and photo/GIF sharing.

VENUE MAPS — Field and venue maps with directions, so families always know where to go.

DUES & PAYMENTS — Collect team dues and club subscriptions securely through Stripe.

VOLUNTEER SIGNUPS — Coordinate concessions, carpools, and game-day help.

WAIVERS & COMPLIANCE — Digital waiver signing with a full audit trail.

Whether you're running one team or an entire club, OnField keeps everyone on the same page.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.08 — 2026-10-13

Write team and club emails right in the app: bold, headings, lists, links and pictures from your camera or photo library, plus file attachments. Drafts save as you type and sync with the web, so you can start on your phone and finish on your computer. Emails you receive now show their formatting and pictures.

Also new: choose which notifications reach you, Mixed / Open / Women settings for ultimate seasons, and Sign out now only signs out this device.

### 1.07 — 2026-10-12

• Invite links open the app. Tap Accept in an invite email or text and OnField opens and accepts it for you.
• Sign in from your email. Tap the Sign in button in your code email instead of typing the code.
• Parents and guardians can post in team chat, start groups and be @mentioned.
• Coaches and staff now accept their own spot on a team. Add to Roster lets you pick Player or Staff.
• When a game is live, Home also shows your next event so you can still RSVP.
• Names show properly in announcements, volunteer duties and the org admin list.
• Clearer invite and sign-in emails, plus lots of smaller fixes.

### 1.06 — 2026-10-06

• Join codes with approval: staff can review and approve people who join with a team code.
• Waivers for admins: edit, archive or delete waivers, choose which teams and seasons a waiver applies to, and mark paper or emailed waivers as completed.
• Live scores on the event page while a game is being scored.
• Chat: older messages load as you scroll, plus more reliable sending and attachment retry.
• Links to OnField events open right in the app.
• Updates arrive automatically. When a new version is ready, a banner offers a one-tap refresh.
• Many smaller fixes and speed improvements.

### 1.05 — 2026-10-03

Faster, smoother images and GIFs. Avatars and photos now load from a local cache.

### 1.04 — 2026-10-01

Big Scoreboard for live scoring

Turn your phone sideways on the Live Scoring screen to get a full-screen scoreboard anyone on the sideline can read and use.

Tap a team's side to add a point. You'll feel a light buzz to confirm it.
"−" removes the last point, with a confirmation so a stray tap doesn't undo a score.
Shows the next gender ratio for mixed games (e.g. "Next: Women 2").
Start halftime from the menu, then tap "Start 2nd Half" to resume.
The screen stays awake while the scoreboard is open.
Turn the phone back upright to return to the full scoring console.

Also in this update

Scores and edits from other phones now appear live on the scoring screen.
New "Keep screen awake" switch on the scoring console, remembered per game.
More reliable scoring on patchy sideline signal: no lost points from quick taps, and the score no longer briefly jumps back.
Bug fixes and improvements.
