## What is Onflow?

Routines aren't a nice-to-have for families of neurodivergent kids — they're load-bearing structure. When the routine breaks, the day breaks.

Onflow is a visual schedule app for parents of kids with autism, ADHD, or both. It's made by a parent who lives this every day, not by a team chasing a market.

WHAT MAKES ONFLOW DIFFERENT

— Pictures first, words optional. Your child can follow a routine on their own even if they can't read yet.
— A first-then board in your pocket. One step at a time, with what's coming next waiting quietly underneath.
— Calm by default. No flashing animations, no jarring sounds, no streaks to break, no "you failed" moments.
— Two apps in one: a setup side for you, and a distraction-free child side. Coming back out needs a 4-digit parent code.
— Sensory settings per child. Three themes (Calm, Bright, High contrast), chosen separately for each kid in your family.
— Local-first. Onflow runs fully offline. Nothing leaves your device.

WHAT'S INSIDE

— 95 picture symbols that show the action being done — brushing teeth, getting dressed, putting on shoes — or use your own photos
— Five starter schedules: morning, bedtime, after school, leaving the house, calm down — all fully editable
— You say when each routine happens — morning, mid-day, afternoon, evening, night or anytime — and your child's screen groups by that, leading with what's happening now
— Optional timers per step, with three calm visualizations: shrinking circle, draining bar, color shift
— A guided first run that sets up your first child and schedule in under a minute
— On a tablet, the whole routine sits beside the current step
— Back up and restore your schedules to move to a new device

WHAT ONFLOW IS NOT

— Not a behavior tracker. We don't grade your kid.
— No streaks. Missing a day doesn't break a chain or punish anyone.
— A late start is never treated as a miss. A routine whose time has passed is labeled honestly as "earlier today" — still there, still tappable.
— No ads. Ever. Not even at the free tier.
— No account needed to start. Open the app, add your child, build a schedule. Done.
— No sticker rewards or gamification. Some families love them, others find them harmful — so we don't ship one.

PRIVACY

Onflow works fully offline and your child's data lives on your device. Cloud backup is strictly opt-in — leave it off and nothing ever leaves your phone. Either way we never sell your data and ship no third-party trackers, analytics SDKs or ad networks.

The picture symbols are Mulberry Symbols, shared under a Creative Commons license. They're free to every Onflow user, on every tier.

Onflow now speaks German — the whole app, from the child's side to the guide. Times, weekdays and dates now follow the reader's own locale instead of defaulting to US formatting.

### 1.5.1 — 2026-08-20

The App Store listing now describes what the app actually does — including the visible Exit button, the 95 step pictures, and the time-of-day grouping added in 1.4.

No changes to the app itself.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-08-14

Setting Onflow up is now a guided first run. Tell us your child's name, pick a sensory theme, and choose a starter routine — and you land on a home screen that already works, instead of a blank one.

You can skip it and build everything yourself, and "I'll build my own" still sets your child up. Nothing is asked twice.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-08-01

You now choose when each routine happens — morning, mid-day, afternoon, evening, night, or anytime — and your child's home screen groups by that, so what's happening now comes first and nothing gets called "later today" when it has already come round.

Step pictures are new: drawn symbols that show the action being done, so a child who can't read yet can follow along. They're free, on every tier.

Routines reorder with the arrows on the home screen, dots show how far along a routine is, and on a tablet the whole routine sits alongside the current step.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-07-30

Onflow Family now includes one free routine reminder for every family — a gentle nudge to start the day.

Child mode handles interruptions gracefully: go back a step, stop for now, and pick up right where you left off. The screen stays awake during routines.

Also new: change your parent code anytime in Settings, restore purchases from the upgrade screen, and safer backup & restore.

Plus many small fixes and improvements.
