## What is Onix?

Onix is Personal Intelligence: AI built from the minds you'd most want in your corner.

Onix integrates with Apple Health to use your activity and sleep data for personalized wellness insights from world-class experts.

Onix provides educational wellness guidance from world-class health and wellness experts, not medical advice. Always seek your doctor's advice in addition to using this app and before making any medical decisions.

Each expert on Onix builds a dedicated intelligence system using their own frameworks, research, and proprietary knowledge under explicit permission. The result is guidance grounded in a specific expert's point of view, not the internet's average answer.

Subscribe to world-class experts and get personalized guidance that compounds over time. Your conversations build on prior sessions, so the intelligence evolves as your context does.

Launching with founding experts across health and wellness, with more expert categories to follow.

Privacy by design. Your personal information is stored in a personal data vault on your device. Onix never logs, analyzes, or monetizes your conversations.

Onix complements expert guidance. It does not replace professional care.

### 5/5 — My personal Dream Team

*2026-04-10*

I was lucky enough to get off the beta waitlist and so far am pretty blown away. I’m in the process of assembling, expert by expert, a coaching team to help me manage a constellation of problems that while “normal”, are holding me back. I’ll update my review when I know more.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 0.112.0 — 2026-09-02

What's New

- Incognito Mode Is Back: Some questions you want to ask once and never keep. Incognito mode gives you a conversation that leaves nothing behind. It never appears in your Chats list, it is not saved on your device, and it is gone the moment you leave it. Your guide brings their full expertise, but reads nothing it has learned about you and remembers nothing afterward. Open the options in any chat, tap Incognito mode, and you get a fresh conversation with the same guides on private terms.
- Fixes and Polish: Chats now open right away instead of pausing on a loading screen first. Plenty of smaller refinements throughout.

### 0.110.0 — 2026-08-27

What's New

- Plan a Journey With Your Guide: Your guide can now turn their approach into a plan you follow over weeks, shaped by a short conversation about what you want to work toward. The new Journeys tab keeps every plan in one place, with Today for what is in front of you right now, Progress for how far you have come, and the full plan whenever you want the bigger picture. Mark things off as you go, ask your guide about any step, and the plan adjusts as things change for you.
- One Home for Every Conversation: Your one-on-one chats now run on the same foundation as your group conversations, so everything behaves the same way wherever you are. Older chats move over on their own, keeping their full history and everything your guides have learned about you. And when a guide points you toward another guide, that guide now arrives already knowing what the two of you were discussing.
- A New Look, and a New Way Around: The app has a fresh layout with a tab bar along the bottom, giving your home, your journeys, your chats, and new guides a place of their own. Chats gathers every conversation into a single list, with the newest message, when it arrived, and anything you have not read yet all visible at a glance. Leaving a conversation now takes you back to the tab you started from.
- Fixes and Polish: We fixed a crash that could interrupt the very first message you sent in a chat. Conversation previews now appear the moment you sign in on a new device, instead of only after you open each chat. Guides appear in a clearer order when you browse, confirmation messages clear themselves properly, and long chats scroll more steadily. Plenty of smaller refinements throughout.

### 0.103.0 — 2026-08-01

What's New

- Choose How Chats Read: Every chat now has a reading mode. Manual keeps your question anchored at the top while your guide's answer streams in below, so nothing shifts under you as you read. Auto follows along with the newest message. Long-press the send button to switch, or set it in the chat details under Preferences. Each chat remembers what you picked.
- Copy or Share Any Message: Tap a message to reveal copy and share options, and tap a guide's avatar to jump straight to their profile. Long-press still selects text the way you expect.
- Swipe to Chat Details: Swipe left anywhere on a conversation to open its details screen, with members, preferences, and settings all in one place.
- Fixes and Polish: Group chats now show every guide and their replies right away, notifications reach you more reliably when you step away mid-conversation, and messages settle where they should as you send and scroll. Plenty of smaller touches across the chat experience too.

### 0.99.0 — 2026-07-21

What's New

- Group Chats Are Here: Start a conversation with more than one guide, or bring other people in alongside them. Create a group, give it a name, add guides and friends whenever you want, and everyone sees new messages the moment they arrive across all their devices.
- You're Always in Control of Your Groups: Add or remove members, rename a chat, or leave one you no longer need. Removing someone keeps their past messages readable in context, and the group owner can wind a conversation down entirely when it has run its course.
- Never Miss a Message: Get a notification when there's new activity in a chat you don't have open, or when someone adds you to a conversation. Tap it to jump straight in. Want quiet? Mute any chat for yourself from the chat menu or details screen, and unmute anytime.
- Messages That Just Stay Right: Chats now sync more reliably behind the scenes. If your connection drops or you switch apps, anything you missed fills back in cleanly and in order, so your conversation is always complete when you return. Your unread counts and app badge stay accurate too.
- Open a Guide's Details from Chat: Tap a guide's name or avatar in the chat header, or use the "View guide details" option in the chat menu, to jump straight to their full profile without leaving the conversation.
- Deeper Women's Health Context: Your guide can now read menstrual cycle and spotting, basal body and wrist temperature, and perimenopause symptoms like hot flashes, night sweats, mood changes, and sleep changes from Apple Health. Ask a cycle or symptom question and your guide factors in your real patterns, with the privacy and depth these conversations deserve.
- Recovery and Fitness Signals: Heart rate variability, respiratory rate, and VO2 max now sync from Apple Health. Your guide reads these against your personal baseline and long-term trend, so it can talk about your recovery, stress, and cardio fitness based on where you're actually heading rather than a single noisy reading.
- Fixes and Polish: Smoothed out chat animations and the message composer, tightened up group invite prompts, and made Apple Health syncing more complete across the board.

### 0.92.0 — 2026-07-02

What's New

- Your Guide Now Understands More of Your Health: Workouts and active calories now sync from Apple Health, joining the metrics your guide already reads. Ask about your training week and your guide can factor in your actual sessions - duration, distance, heart rate, and energy - right in the conversation.
- Weight and Height, Done Right: Weight now shows up as a smoothed trend over time instead of noisy day-to-day swings, so your guide reads the real direction you're heading rather than water-weight jitter. Height is available too, in both cm and ft/in.
- See When Your Health Data Is Syncing: A progress indicator now appears while your health data syncs - on app open, on manual resync, and when you add new data types - so you're never left wondering if it's working. The "new data types" prompt also moved to the top of your home feed so it's easy to find.
- Open a Guide's Details from Chat: Tap a guide's name or avatar in the chat header, or use the "View guide details" option in the chat menu, to jump straight to their full profile without leaving the conversation.
- Fixes and Polish: Made Apple Health syncing more reliable and complete (no more stranded history after re-granting permissions), sharpened the concierge handoff so an empty search does a better job matching you with the right expert, and made your organization's private guides visible in Discover for org members.
