I’ve watched from many different area of the states. So glad to have this option as I have been sick for 2 months and can barely leave my bed. I'm so grateful for being led to this sanctuary, where my testimony finds it’s place alongside many others. Being surrounded by true likeminded individuals has been surreal, and the presence of our leaders handpicked by God, feels like a rare and precious gift. There is such a welcoming, come-as-you-are atmosphere where you are immediatelymade to feel welcomed. I was hesitant at first because a lot of Church's these days are more motivational speaking and not a verse by verse Church. Especially mega Churches. It’s so important to me and our family to attend a Church that will preach the truth no matter how unpopular or uncomfortable it can be. Pastor Ed does this. I’m thankful my nephew has found this Church. My husband 3 boys and I are planning a move to San Antonio from Indiana. We will definitely be attending this Church. I have been watching past and present sermons and it’s so refreshing to see a community come together in Gods glory to help others and share the goodness of the Lord. It’s been beautiful to watch the growth in this Church. I can’t wait to be there and be apart of Community Bible Church family. It is helpful at all levels: for me as an individual, for my family who have all long since left home and have their own children, for my 10 grandchildren whether in their twenties or not yet teenagers, for my friends, my church, my community, my nation, for industry, for politicians yes, for the very fabric of the world. Everyone is welcome at this church. There are many hard issues that are talked about too. But it’s done with love, respect and kindness. I am also a truck driver so that means I am gone a decent amount of the time. This app along with CBC’s YouTube channel have helped me stay connected with my home church and in rythm with how God is directing them thru Pastor Ed. The services are impactful because they are genuine. Each service is unique because they are NOT stringently structured to not allow the Spirit of God to move. There is a freedom here I’ve rarely seen in a regular sized church much less a mega church like CBC. Ed Newton is a man who is in what I call the cusp or palm of Gods outstretched hand to us. He is blending being a man of the Word and seeker of the Spirit of God and the results speak for themselves not just in my life but so many others I’ve introduced to CBC and the members I’ve met along the way. This combination is unfortunately a rare thing but I believe is starting to grow among our leaders. In my opinion, Ed is leading that charge and people are starting to take notice. This app will help you tap in if you away or want to catch up. The church I belonged to moved several years ago and built not far from CBC. CBC, through their outreach and living The Word and their name, Community, they are now closer to me.
