## What is Only This?

Most task apps show you everything at once. Every project. Every deadline. Every unfinished thing. All competing for your attention before you’ve even started. For some people, that can be stressful. For an easily distracted mind, it can be paralyzing.

Only This does the opposite. It shows you one task. The one you should be working on right now.

YOUR NEXT STEP

Add your tasks, and Only This shows you just one. Full screen, nothing else competing for attention. Finish it, and the next one appears on its own.

SKIP IT, OR GO BACK

Not the right moment for this one? Skip it for now and it comes back around later. Changed your mind about something you already finished? Go back a step, as many times as you need.

SEE EVERYTHING, WHEN YOU WANT TO

Open All Steps anytime for the full picture. Reorder your list, jump straight to any task, or paste in a whole list at once, your own or one made with the help of AI. Shuffle the order if a routine chore needs to feel a little less routine.

WORKS WITH REMINDERS

Link a project to a Reminders list and the two stay in sync in both directions. Ask Siri to add a step by name, and it shows up in Only This on its own.

MADE FOR IPHONE, IPAD, AND MAC

Your projects sync through iCloud, so it's the same list wherever you pick it up.

BUILT FOR EVERYONE

Only This works fully with VoiceOver, because a calmer task list shouldn't be for sighted users only.

Free of clutter. And Cost.
No charge, no subscription, no ads, no account required. Because if you're of the easily distracted mindset, things are costly enough.

ONLY THIS
A quieter way to get one thing done. And then the next.

WHY I MADE THIS

I have ADHD, and I lean on tools that help me stay focused. I tried a lot of task list apps made for people like me. Some wanted to gamify everything. Some had distracting ads. Some charged on a regular basis for an app that didn't update on a regular basis. I couldn't find the one thing I wanted: a task list that shows a single step and then gets out of the way. So I built it.

If it's useful to you, or you'd like an improvement, or you hit a bug, reach out. I'd genuinely like to hear from you. You'll find my email in the app, under "Only This Tutorial and Tips."

One thing at a time. You've got this.

Jason

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.1.1 — 2026-09-05

Version 1.1:

It's free!

Daily Reset. Set any project to start fresh each day. "Daily routine" keeps every step and just clears the checkmarks, so a morning routine or workout begins again from the top. "Running list" clears finished tasks out for good, so a list of odd jobs stays tidy. Either way it happens once, the first time you open the app on a new day.

Add Another Step. While adding steps, a new button saves the current one and starts the next without leaving the screen.

A tidier All Steps screen. Paste Steps, Link to Reminders, and Daily Reset now sit behind one button in the top corner, so the list stays clean as it grows.

Smoother transitions between Projects, New Project, and All Steps.

Plus small fixes and polish.

Version 1.1.1: Refined presentation and bug fixes.
