It takes a minute to get to the actual rewards. Also, it would be amazing if my referral code actually worked. I cannot refer anyone because the code never shows up. Would give 5 if it was easier/ quicker to obtain rewards, and could share referral code ### 2/5 — Transparency *2026-06-09, version 0.0.97* This is for people who want to know what it’s about before downloading. The app is free to download and to use. You get fake money for driving without using your phone. You can use that fake money on spin-to-win games or “savings cards” for hotels/travel. The ratio is 5 to 1 (i.e. $100 hotel card for $500 fake dollars). The big prizes are literally impossible to win. There’s supposedly many prizes you could win, but I’ve only ever won more fake money and hotel cards. You have to pay to redeem the savings cards ($20 to redeem a $500 savings card!) and they’re only good for up to 50% off retail price of a hotel room. It’s a lot of steps and hassle to get something “free”. Really, this app is only useful if you already travel a lot and pay for hotels frequently, otherwise it’s not really worth it. ### 3/5 — Hotel card BS *2026-03-18, version 0.0.92* The hotel cards are 100% bs. These reviews have to be fake. I got a $500 hotel card and you can only actually use $100 off the stay, so it is actually 5 $100 cards. Btw, you have to pay an activation fee of around $30 for the card and even with the $100 off your stay is only $2 cheaper than it is if you book on Expedia. The other giveaways are suspect as well. They say if you match all six numbers you win that prize, but they don’t tell you what the winning numbers are, so those prizes more than likely will never be won. They should post what the numbers are so we can see if we matched any. Customer service is top notch though. They are nice and did refund my On my way dollars when I complained about the hotel. I just don’t see how this app can make them enough money that enables them to possibly give away, Porsches, Range Rovers, and millions of dollars. Only giving one star to get your attention ### 1/5 — Scam *2025-11-11, version 0.89* When you redeem the rewards it allows you to them will tell you that it’s not valid every time after you set up he account to use the rewards you redeemed, then they will blame the 3rd party website that they make you use to redeem the travel rewards. A huge issue and a huge waste of time, also it redeemed twice on my rewards then told me I wasn’t allow to redeem the same reward in a 12 month period. So it took an estas $500 OnMyWay dollars and I can’t even use them because their contracted 3rd party doesn’t allow it but they do. 🤷🏼‍♀️. I have spent the last 24 hours trying to get in to the account to use the reward I redeems as well and you can’t even get help from support from neither them nor their 3rd party redemption website. Listen you are as good as your weakest link and this has 2 too many weak links.i wanted to add that I did read the full terms and conditions.also the $4.95 fee for redemption is not correct. For the $100 hotel savings you will be charged $6.95 and they stay that that is non refundable. I have tried turning my phone off and turning the phone back on. Going into the iTunes App Store and seeing if there is an update. Saved up around $6000 “dollars”. You used to be able to cash out x amount of money, redeem gift cards, and other useful items. Now they offer ‘scammy’ hotel discounts and airfare/trips and the fine print makes the whole thing even more expensive than you’d book elsewhere. The Range Rover and cash sweepstakes has been going on for months, and no updates to any of the “deals”. I’m not sure the future of this app, but it’s becoming more disappointing as it goes on. I still have the sunglasses I got from 6 years ago. I’m really annoyed that they gave the option of getting real $1000 when you hit $10K reward money and when I finally hit $10K they Changed everything… This app is a joke now. I tried the New hotel offers and i got the $300 one and I could not keep track of where to go to find my rewards. Just redeemed a 300$ hotel voucher and made the account, got the link to confirm my email and the link brings me to an error. Go to sign in and it states my account is inactive. Go to create an account and my email is already registered with an account. The third party website just charges your card without actually dispensing a reward. I contacted OnMyWay about this and they came up with some phony reply. Deleting this app. It’s not worth being tracked. ### 1/5 — Used to be good, now a scam *2025-09-02, version 0.0.86* Update: in the 5+ years I’ve used this app, I’ve watched its decline. It is now designed just to take your private/personal data and sell it to data brokers. There are no prizes worth redeeming. Only “savings cards” for hotel and travel that require additional fees and don’t offer better prices than you could find elsewhere. Few sketchy giveaways with no clear rules or odds. Just deleted and will not be redownloading. It’s a shame. Old: A $20 transfer did not appear in my bank account, so I contacted customer support and was sent the $20 via PayPal. Was a bit time-consuming but I did receive my money. They “reward” you for driving safe, yet when you redeem your award it’s incredibly complicated and doesn’t even work. I did everything as the instructions said for the reward to get my account setup to be able to use it and fun fact! When you create your account through the travel agency (that your away is through) it doesn’t even let you login to your account to redeem the hotel discount/credits. Total joke of an app and would avoid it. Sounded too good to be true. ### 1/5 — Scam *2025-08-19, version 0.0.86* I was skeptical at first because there is a $15 activation fee. The positive reviews are fake. “Ironically” I can’t seem to activate the codes for a hotel. “24/7 customer service” doesn’t actually exist. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — App stopped working *2026-05-25, version 0.0.95* Recently tried opening app and won’t load. ### 1/5 — Prizes are BS *2026-05-21, version 0.0.95* So you can spend $10 of your ON MY WAY dollars on a chance to win 5 million dollars, A Range Rover and cash, 1 million dollars, or a Porsche and $200k. If you match the correct six numbers you win that prize. Problem is they don’t tell you what the six numbers you have to match are. I guess you just have to take their word for it. lol. They also don’t give the odds of winning said prizes, which is a violation of state and federal laws. My guess is they don’t give the odds or the numbers you need to match, because those prizes are not winnable. I believe the odds of winning the Powerball would be better than winning one of these prizes too, so maybe that is the reason they don’t give the odds. Anyway, for a company who is trying to sell a product and uses compliance as one of their talking points, they should at the very least be complaint with state and federal laws. Also looks at the good reviews. It is like the same 5-10 reviews repeated with the exact same wording over and over. The Cancun trip is repeated with the exact same wording with different users. In response to supports response to the hotel rewards card. I had to pay around $30 to activate my $500 savings card. The discounts they give you are around $2 cheaper than you get using Expedia or similar website, except you have to pay money for the cards and don’t have to pay money for Expedia. They should be removed from the site as they make OnMyWay seem scammy. They should also remove all the fake positive reviews. It doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — Waste of an App *2026-03-13, version 0.0.92* This is one of the worst apps I have used in terms of general functionality and transparency about what customers actually get out of it. The incentive programs are extremely misleading and often cost more money to use than the reward is worth. At one point I placed all of my earned rewards into the Bitcoin option they were promoting. Eventually it simply disappeared and the rewards were gone. That experience alone made it clear that the “rewards” in this app don’t actually hold real value. In general, you are not able to convert what you earn on a true dollar-for-dollar basis. You can’t easily redeem rewards for gift cards or anything comparable. For example, you might get $100 toward a hotel, but you’re required to spend $300 or more to use it, and there are numerous restrictions and conditions attached. For an app that claims to reward people for driving safely, this is one of the worst reward systems I’ve seen. It feels misleading and very disappointing. On top of that, the functionality of the app itself is poor. Around 80% of the time when I try to open it, the app doesn’t even load.
