## What is Onnal?

Onnal is a quiet one-line-a-day journal.

Open the app, write a single line about today, and tap done. That's it. No prompts, no streaks to chase, no scrolling feeds. Just one square per day on a calm year grid that fills in as you keep showing up.

On Sunday evenings, Onnal quietly reviews your week and offers a short reflection -- a gentle mirror, not a report card. On devices that support it (iOS 26+), the recap is generated by Apple's on-device Foundation Models. On older devices, a simple on-device summary takes its place. Either way, your entries never leave your device for AI processing.

Onnal syncs across your Apple devices through your own private iCloud database. Nothing is sent to the developer. No accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking. Lock Screen widget and a Quick Entry App Intent let you capture a line in one tap.
