Expensive yes, but the deep story and memory was worth it. But, like all of these apps, after a while they all get censored and the NSFW gets blocked. The latest update has done this. NSWF gets rejected and G rated response are supplied. My only gripe is that to actually do any stories, you’re more or less limited to only a couple posts per day unless you want to pay a decent amount of money for a one-time amount of tokens. You can of course chat with singular character in a free mode. It’s been very addictive, especially with the character section of the app. My only issue is the fact that I’m not the biggest fan of spending money for credit. Which is very annoying about this app when it comes to stories. The one thing I would suggest is making an option for a full version. Which allows you to continue playing stories with no credit consequences. Sorry for example in the story section you can just simply play stories as long as you want without having to worry about credit. If you were to do that, I would gladly buy it fast. Another awesome thing about this app is unlike others it doesn’t what require an annoying membership that you have to pay for. Which is so refreshing as I see plenty of these type of apps needing you to get a membership. Also, another thing is that with the character section of the app. I’m not sure if it’s the people who make those A.I stuff. But sometimes I wish their memory was a bit better and functions. Like sometimes if you’ve been chatting to a certain character for a long time, they’ll forget certain things which is a bit immersion breaking. Or if you want to leave that that character in a scenario you want to do with the character like for example if I want to go to Work but the character that I’m talking to says enjoy your day. Sometimes it’ll mess up and say your your character is at work with you, which is not what I wanted if that makes sense. So yeah, I really like this app. I just wished there was a way to buy premium so I could spend more time with the story feature. Don’t get me wrong I love the character features but I just wished there was a way to buy premium which gives you infinite possibilities for endless choices and the extra features for free since you bought the premium. Thank you for listening. Update I just found out that a character’s memory will stop recording at a certain point. This makes it very infuriating, especially if you want to continue with a big. Open story with certain characters and open story in character mode. No I’m not too much sure about story but I’m sorry but I cannot recommend this app unless they increase the memory size. Or think of some alternative. ### 3/5 — Needs a better way of monatizing *2026-08-25* The app itself is great and probably one of the better ai stories tools around but due to how their token system works to actually use it is very expensive it’s could you not just give us a subscription system and let us do what we want for like 20$ a month on ai dungeon I can get very similar service where as 20$ here would only let mess around for like an hour with the app ### 4/5 — Writing is too restrained *2026-08-24* I love the app it’s got great potential but the Credit usage is absurd every input whether it’s a single line depicting action or a paragraph cost the same based on the mode the AI is set to but with a daily limit of 300 Credits for a F2P user and the costs being (Basic 30, Extensive 60, Skillful 60, Superb 90, Max 195) the immersion is lost as soon as it’s done into. I’d suggest making the start of the session cost X amount of Credits based on the mode the user wants to experience. If they choose a cheaper mode at the start and want to upgrade they pay the difference in Credits and paying for the best one, Max, at the start would allow the user to freely switch between the modes. As for the Ai images you can add, those still costing Credits is fine since they refund if the image fails to be created but allowing the user choose which of the modes creates the image to choose the price would be nice. (I haven’t checked if the price of images changes with the modes so if it doesn’t ignore that) ### 3/5 — A hooked buyer *2026-08-22* This is really amazing and has the potential to be much more popular than video games. Especially if disc print games stop. The only flaw that I see with this is that memories of events that you did. They don’t save and characters start acting like other characters and not their own character role. That’s a big problem for me and it takes away from the enjoyment and engagement. Like if no one is going to remember and characters won’t will switch character personalities with other characters, then what’s the point. Improve that and I believe that this will be big in the future. I also think that a version similar to the adult animes example being redo healer, Masou gakuen hxh Valkyrie Drive Mermaid Shinmai Maou No Testament. Should be made. That would also boost up popular. I’ve been spending more money on this than I should with it having the memory flaw. ### 3/5 — Good but expensive *2026-08-20* I think this is a truly amazing apps but in order to have an enjoyable content, you need a lot of credit and it’s too expensive. ### 3/5 — Glaring Issues *2026-08-20* The app is overall good, but it has some glaring issues. The biggest is how it handles alternate regenerations. When you regenerate a response and choose which version you want to continue with, the unchosen versions aren’t actually discarded. Instead, they remain folded into the chat, and the AI can reference them in later responses as though they were part of the story you chose. This means that if you don’t manually delete every regeneration you decided not to use, details from those versions can unexpectedly affect the story later on. I’ve had to scroll back through long chats to figure out where I forgot to delete an old regeneration, delete it, and then spend more money regenerating the current response because it referenced something from a version I specifically chose not to keep. I shouldn’t have to manually clean up discarded regenerations in the first place. I haven’t encountered this problem with any other AI chat app I’ve used, and it’s especially frustrating in an app where regenerating responses costs money. This has been an ongoing issue throughout the several weeks I’ve been using the app, and the fact that users can be charged to correct responses that were affected by content they explicitly chose not to continue with is frankly unacceptable. ### 2/5 — Mid *2026-08-19, version 0.1.16* Only problem is that you need tokens for every message you send, and it’s really annoying when they only give 10 free messages a day while others like C.ai is free ### 4/5 — Another glitch, kinda annoying too. *2026-08-18, version 0.1.16* I love the app so far, as I said in my last review. But there appears to be either an intentional problem or a glitch where the models show a price that I should be able to use but it says I don’t have enough credits. I have 150 something credits, and the model that I’m trying to use says it only cost 60 credits and yet it won’t let me use it. ### 4/5 — Held back. *2026-08-18, version 0.1.16* Tested out the app for a bit. I’d recommend using the credit system for genuine bigger actions like generating videos or stuff inside the app. Not the stats for the stories since that would be another hassle for the user to get through. Another reccomendation I’d say is that you should add a subscription for the bots to not have ads in them. The better the type of chat you use (ex: superb) you can vary the amount of ads they receive for that bot type. Also make credits vary for if you’re on the subscription service. Thats it, thank youx ### 3/5 — Fun but limited *2026-08-18, version 0.1.16* Fun for a while, but the ai is bad at remembering things. Multiple retcons occur. The longer you play the less likely you are to keep a real story going. Def wouldn’t put too much money into it. Like the game sometimes doesn’t remember what you did 10-15 messages ago which makes the longer runs not worth it. Characters are just different the next time you interact with them. And some forget that you ever met despite being important early on. ### 3/5 — Not working *2026-08-17, version 0.1.16* I started playing two of the stories and the next day when I went back on the app it wouldn’t allow me to put in my choices. When starting new community stories/scenarios, the app automatically switches the Output Length slider to 3x (2400 tokens / up to 188+ credits per message) without asking or notifying the user. This overrides standard rates, locks you out of sending basic messages even with a valid balance (like having 131 credits when the Ul claims a mode costs 60), and forces you toward expensive recharge packs unless you dig deep into hidden side menus to manually reset it to "Default." Users should have to opt IN to higher token multipliers-the app should NEVER silently increase token spending and image toggles by default. The app name says playable anime but it looks like it’s just a text generation AI. You also need a bunch of credits to chat normally. I honestly love it a bunch but have a single issue. Credits are the biggest drawback of OOC because they’ll be gone cost a lot of money, and yes there is a daily check-in but on the lowest setting that’s 10 messages a day for small and bad responses compared to the other options but it quickly consumes more credits. There is a Badge System to get more credits but you effectively have to consume the same amount your spending to get it or more. If OOC added an option for a Permanent purchase for the generation option I honestly wouldn’t mind spending $100 for the unlimited uses of superb or $60 for extensive. Is it unlimited? No, which would be my only complaint really. Its the first one ive felt worth throwing some money at and cant help doing so cuz it keeps up really well. Sometimes there are minor hiccups but the memory is impressive. I cant play for a long tine daily and it will still remember things from days before, im used to lots of ai forgetting even things even after just a few paragraphs. Not to mention it really dives into the characters in ways others dont. I almost never actually make reviews but ive been obsessed with this app daily throughout the entire last week or two. Not to mention, while it does give you daily credits and even frequent awards letting you chat more, it also lets you choose different options that affect the ai behavior costing more or less points so tou get to choose what you are actually willing to give for what you get in a way. Downloaded this app awhile ago not thinking of it, forgot about it then loaded it up months later wondering what it was i downloaded and haven’t used much else app wise overall but it since initially using it.
