Fired up my Karu 2 Pro for initial burn in. Noticed that the temps listed in the “About this cook session” in Ooni connect are only about half of actual. The graph shows correctly, however Average oven temp and Max oven temp are incorrect.

The oven is fine. Does the job.

The “app” and indeed all online support is woeful. It is nearly impossible to ask a question on an iPhone: Text boxes with no way to navigate to the next step, contact progress lost when you switch to another app. 

So, just hope the oven works straight out of the box!

Love my Ooni and the app is a great dough calculator, but there’s so much room for improvement with its other features. It doesn’t allow you to save or “favorite” recipes, and the search bar doesn’t save your history. “Recently viewed” seems to reset/clear out quickly. Ooni advertises recipes in their emails and on YouTube that you can’t find in the app. I’m hopeful it will keep improving.

Was soll ich mit einer App, die gerade mal 5-6m weit die BT Verbindung hält und dann abbricht. Ich will das Gerät aus 10 oder 20m Entfernung am Smartphone überwachen können. Aus 5m reicht der Blick aufs Thermometer am Ofen. Unnützer Spielkram.

The app is very well designed, it has great content and is an excellent tool to get the most out of the Ooni oven, however, I believe it is very important to include the Spanish language, since there are many Spanish-speaking people who also buy and use these ovens, and it would be ideal to enjoy all the features and recipes in our language, this would not only make the user experience easier, but also create a stronger connection with the brand and encourage more Latin customers to interact with and recommend the app

Not helpful and when trying to contact support I am told there are no times for a scheduled call for two weeks !!!

This used to be an excellent app. But not anymore. 
You used to be able to alter yeast levels to cope with cooler (or hotter) ambient temperatures and to adjust how long you wanted to prove your dough in hours. Not any more. Removal of this feature means that, if making same day dough, you are constrained to a 4 hour prove. That means that if you want to eat at a target time you have to be available to make the dough 4 hours earlier which may and so alter your day around the dough. This is often inconveniencing. It is always disappointing when a successful company becomes so big it stops focussing on its customers. Wake up Ooni. Poor show.

Perfekter Pizzaofen für Zuhause! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Der Koda 16 ist einfach der beste Pizzaofen, den ich je benutzt habe! Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig, das Design modern und die Bedienung unglaublich einfach. Dank der starken Gasbefeuerung erreicht der Ofen in wenigen Minuten Temperaturen von über 450°C – perfekt für original neapolitanische Pizza mit knusprigem Rand und saftigem Belag.

Besonders beeindruckend ist die kurze Backzeit: Eine Pizza ist in nur 60-90 Sekunden fertig! Der Steinboden speichert die Hitze hervorragend und sorgt für einen gleichmäßig gebackenen Boden. Auch das Handling ist super – kein lästiges Holzhacken oder lange Aufwärmzeiten.

Ich kann den Koda 16 jedem empfehlen, der zu Hause Pizza in echter Restaurantqualität genießen möchte. Ein absoluter Gamechanger für alle Pizzaliebhaber!
