While not every lead is high quality, I’ve learned how to filter through them and focus on the ones with the real potential. It’s numbers game, and this service definitely helps me stay in the game. The consistency of incoming leads gives me more opportunities to connect, follow up and convert. And I’ve turned down probably twice that many referrals for either too low of price range or being further than I wanted to be in light of their price range. I have two suggestions. 1.) allow iPhone users to change the sound (ringtone) when I receive the notification that I have a new lead. 2.) instead of a notification, perhaps you could arrange a live phone call instead of just a notification banner on someone’s phone. That’s how Zillow does it and I close plenty of deals from Zillow because when my phone rings, the Lead is on the phone ready to speak with me. I sincerely hope that this message is read by someone high up in the company. Until one of these two things happens my review is going to remain at two stars. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Fix the app notifications *2026-01-07, version 4.8.1* Always shows I have 1 notification and it drives me crazy. I’ve deleted the app done everything I can think of to clear the notification and it still always shows 1 notification. ### 1/5 — Referral Fee too High *2025-11-24, version 4.8.0* These are very low quality leads with a very high referral fee. It’s a roll of the dice. ### 1/5 — Don’t do it! *2025-09-03, version 4.7.6* Used to be one of the best platforms then, nothing! I was a top performing agent, then all went dark. Don’t let your business depend on these and other realtor.com lead generators. This just makes the lead angry ### 1/5 — Attention Real Estate Agents: *2025-02-15* I strongly advise against signing up for services with this company, as their referral structure is highly predatory toward agents. They charge referral fees ranging from 35% to 40%, despite the fact that agents are the ones doing all the work—from scheduling and conducting showings to writing contracts, coordinating inspections, and handling every step of the transaction. Additionally, keep in mind that after paying this excessive referral fee, you still owe a portion of your commission to your brokerage. In some cases, this could mean losing up to 70% of your earnings, leaving very little for the agent who actually put in the work. If their referral fees were in line with standard industry practices (typically 20% to 25% between agents), I would have no issue. However, given their current structure, I strongly recommend avoiding this company. Protect your hard-earned commissions and seek out referral sources that offer fair and ethical terms. ### 1/5 — Sign in *2025-01-10, version 4.6.0* ?? ### 1/5 — Garbage *2024-04-30, version 4.4.0* This sounded like it may be good when our team signed on but it’s been trash. We have had agents respond in less than 0.5 seconds only to be repeatedly told they were too late. Don’t waste your time. ### 1/5 — Crickets *2024-02-24* I recently changed brokerages and before then was receiving leads or at least opportunities to win leads, but ever since I have changed over I have yet to receive ANY leads or opportunities. All I’m being told each time I call is to lower the budget and expand my area. Expanding my area would place me with clients outside of my MLS and as far as the budget. They already send me leads stating higher budgets than what the client is actually budgeted for. Either way I have lowered the client budget and still have not received any opportunities to win a lead. I guess I’ll just have to get used to the sound of crickets…. ### 1/5 — No leads from last 1 year *2024-01-18, version 4.2.0* I have closed 4 transactions with opcity between 2020-2022. I haven’t received any new lead/ new lead alert since late 2022. Opcity seems to be dead in New Jersey ### 1/5 — Referral Fees unfit for the product *2023-11-15, version 4.1.0* These guys hand over a never ending stream of the type of clients you do not want, and charge you an arm and a leg for the privilege. They don’t vet the clients at all. Client location and other information often incorrect. Referral fees up to 50%. It is what it is, but they are lucky I’m desperate enough to entertain this for now. Probably not a great addition to a successful real estate career, but may help get you off your feet if you have no other options ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Better Lead Qualification Needed *2026-07-03* Opcity has helped connect me with potential clients, but I believe the lead quality could be improved. Many leads are not pre-qualified or are not ready to move forward. As agents, we spend a significant amount of time trying to help them get pre-approved or gather the information they need, but many stop responding. Better screening before leads are assigned would help agents focus on serious buyers and provide a better experience for everyone. It would also be helpful to have clearer guidance on when an unresponsive lead should be released versus when we should continue following up. ### 5/5 — Opcity *2026-04-30, version 4.8.3* Opcity is great for keeping in touch with the prospects and reminding all the time to contact them it’s a great system but on the other side some people doesn’t need that much followings so choosing the pace for follow up will be a great advantage to add it.
