## What is Open API Trader?

Open API Trader is a free sample trading app that includes all the general forex trading functionality of the cTrader platform. The app is mostly intended for beginner traders, providing them with the opportunity to experience demo trading processed by the ultra-low latency cTrader backend and accompanied by a simple interface for daily trading. The application’s source code is available for further modification or customisation, including commercial use, and can be downloaded from the link below. Please note, that only demo accounts can be used in our app. You can find detailed documentation and a guide on how to add real trading accounts on GitHub.


Whether you are an affiliate, a white-label broker or just a trader who is interested in a customised trading app, the Open API Trader app is for you. It is connected to the cTrader Open API protocol, which is accessible to everyone and intentionally developed to give traders and developers the opportunity to create customised trading terminals or analytic products. The app is programmed on Flutter: the most popular and effective technology for mobile app development at the moment. You can watch EURUSD, XAUUSD, US Oil, Apple and and other currency quotes, and trade currency pairs, stocks, indices and commodities. In this app, you can trade with demo accounts of all cTrader brokers. Since there are more than 100 brokers in the cTrader ecosystem, our app is available for traders on five continents and in dozens of financial jurisdictions.
