## What is Open Book?

Build accountability without giving up your privacy. Open Book blocks adult content in Safari and the apps you choose, with optional support from someone you trust.

NATIVE BLOCKING. NO VPN.
Use Apple's Screen Time controls to filter adult websites in Safari and block selected apps or categories. Blocking is free and works without a VPN or traffic inspection.

SUPPORT WITHOUT SURVEILLANCE
Invite up to five trusted allies: a partner, friend, sponsor, or mentor. Their private web dashboard shows protection-related event types and check-in status, never browsing history, websites, app-use details, screenshots, or message contents. Text alerts let them know when the dashboard needs a look without putting event details in the message.

YOU CHOOSE YOUR ACCOUNTABILITY
Premium adds ally pairing, alerts about reported protection changes and missed check-ins, and ally-approved pause requests. Allies create a web account; they do not need to install an app or buy a subscription.

Participation is voluntary. You can remove an ally, delete your account, or revoke Screen Time permission in iPhone Settings without an ally's approval. Open Book is not a parental-monitoring tool or a guarantee against bypassing. Alerts depend on connectivity and device check-ins; they are not continuous proof that blocking is active.

FREE BLOCKING. OPTIONAL PREMIUM.
Both Premium plans include the same accountability features and up to five allies at no extra charge.
• Annual: US $59.99 per year. Eligible new US subscribers receive a 14-day free trial, then the annual price applies.
• Monthly: US $9.99 per month, with no introductory free trial.
Prices and offers vary by country. Check the price and any offer shown in the app before subscribing.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or current subscription period ends to avoid the next charge. Manage or cancel in Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
