## What is Open Chambers?

Open Chambers shows you how the people who represent you in Congress actually vote.

Enter your ZIP code and the app finds your representative and your two senators. From then on, every time one of them casts a recorded vote, you can get a notification that says how they voted, what the vote was on, and a one-line official summary of the bill, written by the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service.

WHAT YOU SEE
- A profile for every current member of the House and Senate: party, state and district, how long they have served, when their seat is next on the ballot, and how often they vote with their party and show up to vote.
- Where each member sits on the DW-NOMINATE scale, the standard measure political scientists use, shown exactly as published by Voteview at UCLA.
- Every roll-call vote of the current Congress, with the tally, the party breakdown, and each member's position.
- A link from every vote to the official record on clerk.house.gov or senate.gov, so you can check the source yourself.

ALERTS YOUR WAY
Choose "Final passage" to hear only about the votes that decide a bill, or "Every roll call" to include amendments and procedural votes. Add the bill summary to the notification or keep it short. Turn on quiet hours to hold alerts overnight.

NO OPINIONS, NO ACCOUNT, NO TRACKING
Open Chambers adds no commentary, ratings, or endorsements. Every number comes from a public, citable source: the U.S. House Clerk, the U.S. Senate, Congress.gov, the unitedstates project, and Voteview. Your ZIP code stays on your phone. There is no sign-up, no advertising, and no analytics. If you turn on alerts, the only thing stored on our server is an anonymous notification token and the list of members you follow, and it is deleted when you stop following them.

Open Chambers is free, works on any iPhone, and is also available on the web at johnhubert.llc/floor.
