I found the name of this game in the comment section of a Pinterest post. I’ve been wanting a cozy game to play, so I downloaded one or two (including this one). Once I started, I could barely put it down; the challenges were just difficult enough to make me feel accomplished, the game design was stunning, and the storyline…I won’t spoil anything, but it was fantastic. I highly recommend it for a cozy playthrough with a beautiful story, music, and graphics.

Open the Door was just the game that I was looking for. A game that is warm, and clever, and thoughtful all at the same time. Part of me is heart broken that the game play can go so quickly. The other part understands entirely why the story doesn’t need to be to be longer. I can’t wait to see what else this creator comes up with. Please show the world what else you can do. This is the kind of joy the world will always need.

学生です。初めてレビューを書きたいと思ったので書きます。

とにかくストーリーがすごく良い、細部までこだわられていて作者さんの伝えたいことが心に直接伝わってくる感じです。なんだか切なくて儚い気持ちになる、でも最後は感動してしまいました。
エンディングも本当に良いです。

絵がすごくリアルとかそういう訳ではないけど、何故か吸い込まれるような魅力がある、ドアを開けた瞬間息を飲むような衝撃を受ける事が何度もあった。

街の人など誰に話しかけても、話しかけて良かったと思えるくらい人生についての素晴らしいことを教えてくれます。毎回「このおじちゃん大好き」とか誰かに話しかける度に口に出してしまうほどです。

進めていけばいくほど、止まらなくなる。コインを集めたり地道な作業が苦手な私でも気付いたらやり続けていました。

終わったときには、すごく自分のことを見つめ返していた。学生なので進路の事とか将来の事について考えないといけなくて、悩み思い詰めていた時にこのゲームに出会ってなんだか少し楽になれました。

このアプリを入れて絶対に損はしないと思います。
こうやってレビューを書くのも烏滸がましいくらいです。
とにかく最初はめげずに頑張ってほしいです。

最初はこのゲームの名前を見てあまり惹かれなかったけど、評価が良かったので試しに入れてみたらすごく納得できました。
終わった時にはこの題名がすごく刺さります😏

本当にこのゲームに出会えて良かったです。

I’m not the type of person to sit down and play a long game but this one really intrigued me! i loved the story and even if getting all the coins was a bit annoying I enjoyed every part. this game was off the app store for a bit and I got so scared since i had deleted it so now it just sits on my phone for when i want to experience the feeling again.

I just want to start by saying I’ve never written a review for an app before, but this short game was too beautiful and underrated to not receive a glowing review. The gameplay is simple but does everything you need it to. The graphics and music are really charming. I adored all the dialogues, and the story was so touching that I almost cried. On top of that, it has cute cats to find! It is such a cozy and comforting game that I can’t recommend it enough! If you enjoy exploring and a heartwarming story, please give it a try. You won’t regret it! I will definitely keep an eye out for more games from Tatsuya Koyama :D
