This app appears to not allow upper- and lower-case formatting. That’s a deal-breaker for me and I‘ve consequently erased it.

I created an odp file with LibreOffice on my computer, and saved it to iCloud Drive. When I opened it with this app, none of the images or fonts displayed, and neither the help or view full screen buttons worked, rendering the app essentially useless. However, the editing feature worked great! I hope these issues get resolved soon so that I can use the app. Note: I also couldn’t find a way to contact the developer within the app so I had to write a review here.

I use both the Android and iOS versions of this app. Have to say the Android version is better for two reasons. First, paragraph breaks are two lines. Second, and more importantly, there’s a dark mode. Would be 5 stars if I could just have dark mode.

Have been using this successfully for awhile on a spreadsheet file. After updating, the thumbnail still looks correct, but upon opening it lists dozens of file names instead of showing the actual document. Will update my review if this is fixed.

Cette application est une faille dans la sauvegarde des documents iCloud. En voulait effacer les documents récemment ouverts sur mon iPhone avec cette application, je me suis aperçu que mes documents avaient été effacés également sur mon MacBookPro. En fait, l’application est reliée à Fichiers qui est synchronisé avec iCloud. Le dossier « Récent » dans l’application est le dossier des fichiers récemment ouverts et modifiés de L’ENSEMBLE des supports. De plus, supprimer des fichiers depuis cette application tierce ne permet pas de récupérer des fichiers récemment supprimés sur le site iCloud.com. Application à supprimer.

Die App tut weitgehend was sie soll.

Ich hätte zwei Verbesserungsvorschläge: 
Wenn man ein Wort sucht, werden nur die Fundstellen markiert, es wäre schön wenn der Cursor zur ersten Fundstelle springen würde.
Es werden oft Leerzeichen, leere Absätze oder Tabellenzeilen nicht dargestellt. Das ist sehr verwirrend, insbesondere dann, wenn der Leser den Text nicht kennt.

Wenn ich eine Date von meiner NAS öffnen möchte holt es entweder irgendeine alte Version von irgendwo auf dem ipad und nicht die direkt ausgewählte oder es zeigt einfach nicht die ganze Datei an. Welches von beiden weiß ich nicht. Es funktioniert jedenfalls nicht.

To test if this would work, I sent myself a file, edited a small portion, sent it back to myself. When I tried to open it in LibreOffice, it said the file was corrupted and couldn't open. Wouldn't trust the file and advised against opening it.

When I opened a document on desktop after I edited it on this app, it said corrupted file. If I wanted to view files, I would use Apple’s native app. I wanted to edit documents on mobile.

J’ai téléchargé cette application pour modifier un document .odt depuis mon iphone. J’ai passé deux heures à travailler sur le document, puis j’ai appuyé sur « enregistrer le document ». En revenant dessus quelques minutes après, toutes les modifications avaient disparu. Merci pour la perte de temps !!!!

Es erfüllt, was es verspricht: odt und andere offene Formate können gelesen werden. Und das funktioniert auch gut, wie ich finde.
Wer mehr will, muss für die Pro Version zahlen.
Die negativen Rezensionen verstehe ich daher nicht.

Habe eine Einladung im ODT Format bekommen. Mit Hilfe des Open Document Reader Lite konnte ich die Datei auf dem iPhone öffnen und anschauen. Ein enthaltenes Foto wurde auch korrekt angezeigt.
Und das alles kostenlos!

Mein Anwendungszweck ist, ein altes Dokument von meinem iCloud Drive zu lesen. Das macht die App korrekt, schnell und ohne Schnörkel.

Andere Funktionen habe ich nicht getestet, aber wenn ich die will lade ich LibreOffice auf meinen Mac und editiere oder drucke von dort. Das Handy ist dafür sowieso nicht besonders gut geeignet.
