Bad, bad, app!! 😠😡🤬 ### 2/5 — iOS 7 update much? *2014-10-24, version 2.3.1* Certainly one of the uglier apps when viewed on iPhone 6. Though the most recent update isn't that long ago it's still using iOS 6 layout and style. Thus, labels overlap control boundaries, colors just look "wrong" (compared to general UI and other updated apps). They won’t give your money back or add the months for the time the features are disabled. I tried to delete and install program but still not work. The client froze due to the poor quality of the software. I contacted support who FULLY ADMITTED the software "didn't work" and they politely asked me to wait for new software. I said I did not want to do that. I also asked for a refund since I had never uploaded one byte of data to the service successfully. They refused. They also refused to cancel my account, rather they quoted the T's & C's at me. This company clearly puts profits before customer service. Do not trust your data to them! I now use Crashplan and couldn't be happier. ### 1/5 — Beware *2013-02-17, version 2.1* Before signing on to a paid plan with OpenDrive, make sure you know what you are buying. Their website's description of what you think you are buying does not match the service they provide. When you close the account, which requires some jumping through hoops, they tell you that there are no refunds. ### 1/5 — Stupid *2013-01-19, version 2.1* Won't even let me press the password field to sign up. So I can't use it. The site can’t log in either! Fix your service! I’m paying for something that works, not something broken!!! This app stinks! ### 1/5 — Immediate Strikeout *2022-04-04, version 3.4.7* When attempting to open an account, this app refused to accept my sign up credentials six times. Where I come from, you strikeout after three strikes so this app struck out twice. The most frustrating thing was that the app wouldn’t give any reasons for not accepting my credentials.., it just declined over and over. Oh, before you suggest I try various alternative password configurations or different email addresses…I tried several variations including a private domain as well as both Gmail and Outlook. What a complete waste of time. ### 1/5 — Can't download pictures on iOS *2018-12-23, version 3.3.4* No way to download photos on iOS OpenDrive app. Tried double tapping, tried tapping and holding. If there is a way, it's not intuitive or at least there is no help page or information online on how to do so. Need to work on this. ### 3/5 — Basic backup - good. Phone app desperately needs work *2020-05-04, version 3.3.9* This seems to work fine and I’m happy with the subscription. They could make a good system great if they did some (any) work on the phone app. Perhaps an option to save to phone picture files? An option to play more video formats from the app? They’d be my top 2 requests but there are a lot more. The backup from phone is terrible because as soon as your phone screen power saves, the upload is interrupted which means more than a couple of files at a time is useless. A good system which could very easily be a great one with a little work to the phone app. ### 3/5 — Needs bug fixes *2018-11-28, version 3.3.4* Files and search bar disappear after playing back video files. Files can be returned upon refreshing the page however this has to be done for each folder/page/subfolder. App needs to be restarted for search bar to return.
