With the amount of fees we pay you’d think they could afford an app that works. ### 2/5 — Stabilitiy,user experience *2026-03-06, version 4.185.0* Glitchy, logs you out after the update like we are in 00s. after log in it catches error and you have to restart the app Randomly logs you off so when you need to have a bid you gotta log in 3 times (not 1) before it lets you in No filter for above 200kkm vehiclesmake it at least a bar up to 300k No filter in simulcast for sort from grade low (only high) inconvenient on a large search Whenever having a bad cell connection it doesnt let you know in advance that app doesnt have a good ping, instead you „bid” to yourself and after 30sec the car is gone and noone saw your bid Please make like a live time sensitive counter for ping like in games so you actually see your connection when needed Plus in general: come on people, you live in 2026 you are huge company you take enormous fees to run/buy/sell/check the car And you cant make stupid filters amd sw stable. Im not asking to be apple, but please use it yourself or give to someone who never experienced the app to buy a car and them sell it on your platform Idk how you have for so much time and you dont care Feedback system is a joke You added market guide and then deleted because you charge extra for it now, so at least clean it up eh? Simulcast live became a little better, im not saying its good, but at least there is a progress. Interface is absolutely terrible to navigate . Original Adesa app 100 times better. ### 1/5 — Not like it used to be. *2025-11-08, version 4.176.0* OPENLANE used to be a trusted, dealer-friendly auction platform — but it’s not the same anymore. These days, it feels like they just want you to keep running the same car over and over again until it finally sells, wasting time and money in the process. A $50,000 car getting a $14,000 counteroffer is beyond ridiculous. The system clearly isn’t protecting dealers or reflecting real-world market values anymore. It’s frustrating watching good inventory get devalued, while sellers are pressured to keep re-running cars with no results. OPENLANE needs to come up with a better solution — one that respects dealers’ time and hard-earned money. Right now, it’s become a cycle of wasted listings, wasted fees, and wasted effort. It’s time for change. Glitchy when bidding cars, hard to see daily auction inventory properly, Dealerblock is now a waste of time as they remove a bunch of search options, the notification don’t work properly anymore & neither do the filter in both the app and web browser version. I expect better from this company but I guess when you have a monopoly in Canada for wholesale vehicle auctions you can put out garbage like this & all your members have no other real choice. Also charging $149 per month for market guide is ridiculous. There was a lot of reasons the old TradeRev app used to be so good and one of them was the free market guide. The cherry on top is the terrible customer service when calling in to support. YOU CAN DO BETTER OPENLANE. UPDATE: The App has improved immensely over that last 3 months. Functionality is way better. Would have changed my review to five stars if the photos in Simulcast & Dealer block would display properly in either the iPad or iPhone app but at this time they do not. Also there is a new glitch with auto bidding inSimulcast which is annoying.
