## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Crashes.

*2025-10-06*

App crashes on attempt to connect to super expensive R760. And it is been like this for a year. Do not buy DELL, checkout HPE

### 1/5 — Crashes After Accepting Certificate

*2024-11-15*

When using QuickSync to connect to the R750, it prompts to accept the certificate. After clicking accept, the app crashes.

### 1/5 — Cheap programming - not functioning app

*2024-04-28*

### 1/5 — App crashes

*2024-04-16*

New R760 server.
App crashes on Accept Certificate screen.

### 1/5 — Deprecated NFC for idrac Quick Sync 1

*2022-05-11*

Titles says it all. After updating I have no way to add or update configurations for my production servers via NFC.

### 1/5 — Keep running in background on its own..

*2021-07-07*

The app keeps launching itself and running in the background even though background activity has been disabled.

**Developer response:** Hello,

Thank you for sharing your concern. We apologize for any inconvenience.

OpenManage Mobile abides by Apple’s application policies and does not override any of the background activity frameworks. If a user has enabled background refresh, we only request background activity for remote notifications (used for receiving push notifications from an OpenManage Essentials console) and for Bluetooth Low Energy communication with Quick Sync 2 module.

We will continue to monitor the behavior you described in your feedback. Meanwhile, please feel free to reach out to us through our Support Email: om_mobile_feedback@dell.com and will be glad to review this with you.

Thanks,
OpenManage Mobile Team

### 1/5 — Garbage - does not work

*2019-09-25*

Stuck in a loop popping up dialog boxes about some certificates. Complete trash, just like their QR scanner app. Dell - this is pathetic...

### 1/5 — Useless

*2017-04-04*

Doesn't support anything older than gen 12. I have a gen 11 server... which was only, what, 2-3 generations ago? It's only 5 years old. Sheesh.

Poor backwards compatibility.

### 1/5 — OMSA

*2016-06-20*

Doesn't work with Dell OMSA. Useless...

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2015-06-12*

Constantly crashes when attempting to login to the iDrac server.

## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Works fine with PE R730XD

*2020-10-18*

No issues so far - able to login and access everything/use iDRAC with iPad Pro.

### 5/5 — Finally on iOS

*2015-01-29*

This is great from Dell. A lifesaver. I downloaded it and am about to set up so I can use it with my server. Thanks!

### 4/5 — Great App

*2022-01-25*

It works by directly connecting to idrac and the virtual console app works well. I can monitor temperatures and other essential things. Thanks for bringing this app to your customers!

### 3/5 — QR scanning unreliable

*2023-02-19*

QR code scanning is unreliable on iphone 14 pro. The camera does not focus and makes it hard to scan QR code for connecting to quick sync.

### 3/5 — Doesn't work with the m1000e CMC

*2016-02-16*

Unfortunately doesn't work with the m1000e CMC directly although it can connect to PowerEdge M630 blades iDRAC directly... Support for the enclosure status would be awesome!
