Whether you're passionate about cycling, mountain biking, trail running, hiking, horse riding, or even skiing, OpenRunner is the essential app for creating and exploring new routes. So, shall we plot together? 

- Plot a route. Directly from your smartphone, you can easily, in just a few clicks, plot a route according to the activity chosen (running, trail running, hiking, cycling, mountain biking, Gravel…) that matches your current desires and abilities thanks to the real-time display of distance and elevation gain, mountain passes to cross, estimated time...

- Search for a route. Out of inspiration? Search and find the route that suits you among several million routes shared by the OpenRunner community! Filter by locality, distance, elevation gain, or activity to find the outdoor experience that suits you.

- Follow, record, share. OpenRunner gives you the ability to track your progress from your smartphone or your GPS device (watch, counter), whether you are following a trace or not, as well as to record your activity. Add photos, points of interest, comment, and share your route if you wish with other community members.

- Offline mode. When the network lets you down, OpenRunner does not, wherever you are! You can download maps for an offline use of the application.

- Safety first. With the LiveTrack feature, you will be tracked to the letter! LiveTrack is about reassuring and being reassured, setting out with peace of mind, safely, without worrying your friends and relatives... LiveTrack indeed allows them to follow your progress in real time on a map and to remotely check your position, speed, and altitude.

Des itinéraires partagés qui permettent de partir à la découverte de nouveaux lieux en sachant la distance et le dénivelé. Un GPS précise qui permet de rattraper quand on s écarte du chemin. Top!

J’utilise Openrunner essentiellement pour tracer les sorties Rando et vélo. L’outil est sipmle et efficace ! Le seul bémol est le « relatif » petit nombre de traces proposées par rapport à certains concurrents. Mais pour la qualité et la variété des fonds de cartes OpenRunner est au top !! Petite question, prévoyez vous une version Apple Watch ?

Application très complète et simple d’utilisation.
De la création de tracé au transfert sur différents appareils, rien de plus efficace que cette application.
Plus besoin de chercher une application de gestion des GPX.

Apres avoir longuement testé (y compris en Premium) quasiment toutes les appli de ce type disponibles j’en reviens toujours à OpenRunner pour mes sorties Rando et VTT. C’est pour moi la meilleure, la plus complète, la plus simple et celle avec la meilleure cartes topo (complétude des informations et lisibilité). En VTT, je trouve plus facilement la bonne direction ou redirection avec Openrunner qu’avec un GPS vélo du leader du marché.

Seule regret (qui ne serait peux être pas trop difficile à développer) : on ne peut pas zoomer dans le profil altimétrique lorsqu’on suit une trace GPX pour facilement voir ce qui nous attend sur les prochains kilomètres. On ne peut afficher que le profil de toute la sortie donc dès qu’on a des traces à plus de 20-30km on peut voir notre avancée sur le profil mais on n’a pas la finesse d’affichage suffisante pour gérer son effort.

Je l’utilise depuis 3 ans et en suis très content. J’aime construire les balades et les laisser la place à l’improviste. Ergonomie agréable, les fonctionnalités ont très bien évoluées , entre les usages smart phone et ordinateur.

Cette application est au top, c'est celle dont je me sers constamment lorsque je suis en montagne, y compris l'hiver. L'app est assez peu gourmande en énergie, le GPS est nickel et surtout la possibilité de télécharger les fonds de carte hors connexion, notamment les Top 25 IGN pour le coût très faible d'un abonnement annuel, en font vraiment mon app à tout faire.
Et en plus, une app développée en France, dans les Alpes 🇫🇷, qui n'a rien à envier aux mastodontes du secteur. Continuez comme ça, merci !
