Sie wird auch zwischen Wegpunkten nicht angezeigt. Das schränkt die Brauchbarkeit für die Planung schon sehr ein. I’m usually quite adept at making apps work for me, including several other marine apps, but I couldn’t find a way to create a route on the map in this one. The bar at the bottom appears to be where an option like that might appear, but tapping on it just causes the app to immediately crash. I did try creating a few waypoints, but I couldn’t find a way to create a route that follows them. ### 1/5 — Ein Witz das Ganze *2025-11-17* Hat jemand eine Navi App im Auto, wo die Straßen nicht eingezeichnet sind? Das wichtigste an einer Seekarte sind die tiefen Linien und die Untiefen. Das ist ein Witz das Wichtigste vom ganzen fehlt. Habe die Pro Version gekauft, aber die bietet nur die Möglichkeit mehr Wegepunkte zu speichern. Das sie abstürzt kommt als weitere Kritikpunkt dazu. So wird die Idee von Open Surce missbraucht. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — On a Baltic Cruise *2019-08-03* I am a retired boat builder and used this free chart on a Baltic Cruise so I knew exactly were the ship was. The resolution and accuracy was excellent, better then on the ships television version. To make it work well when out of internet I found it worth opening the chart and zooming into areas I was most interested in such as harbours to see buoys traffic separation zones etc. Whilst I had internet as It builds up the Cache, in my case this amounted to 23.8 mb. ### 5/5 — Useful *2019-08-01* This is free - and does not replace conventional chars and chartplotters. It gives buoyage but not depths. I find it useful for planning when away from my boat and my charts. Afloat and where there is a phone signal, I find it helpful to have a quick visual position - I have a GPS, paper charts but no chart plotter. Sure, it doesn’t replace charts. OpenStreetMap hat inzwischen einen hohen Stellenwert im kartografischen Tun. Allerdings bringen sich da auch viele Interessenten selber mit ihrem Wissen ein. Zwangsläufig erheblich mehr als unter den Wassersportlern, die schließlich dünner gesät sind als die Landratten der "Outdoorfreaks". Irgendwann werden auch die OpenSeaMaps gute Unterlagen sein. Leute, die darum bemühen kann ich in ihrem Bestreben nur mit Anerkennung unterstützen. Also nicht meckern sondern mithelfen. ### 5/5 — Nicht nur meckern! *2013-08-01* Die APP ist was sie ist: Super, weil umsonst! Wenn man bedenkt wie viele Arbeit drin steckt so etwas zu erstellen finde ich es schade wenn sich Nutzer nur darauf beschränken nach Fehlern zu suchen. Mich hat sie letztes Jahr immerhin durchs ganze Mittelmeer von Ibiza nach Venedig gebracht. Ich freu' mich auf Tiefenlinien und Plotfunktion in naher Zukunft.
