### 4/5 — Actually pretty good…

*2022-09-02, version 3.7*

The app offers navigation by street address without an internet connection while traveling. It’s interface is clean and simple and it’s a good use option for an obsolete iPhone. My thoughts:

Pros:
* clean, simple interface
* can plot routes by destination numeric street address anywhere. Some apps only allow destinations by selecting landmarks.
* doesn’t require an internet connection while traveling
* offers two or three routing options to select from (nice!)
* voice directions are clear
* the maps are current and accurate.

Cons:
* the app does require an internet connection to talk to its mother ship (in China?) to plot the route. However, once the route is selected and started it can complete the trip offline.
* all distances use metric system measurements. There doesn’t seem to be an imperial miles/feet conversion option for the US.
* it doesn’t support split screen operation on iOS as some more recent apps do.
* the app may have been abandoned, as it hasn’t been updated in two years.

It could be a solid five stars if the cons above were addressed.

### 5/5 — Nice!

*2020-08-19, version 3.7*

It’s simple but accurate, gives tts for street names! Maps are very up to date, I tested it with a local coffee shop. Some databases have it listed at its new location and some still have it listed at the old location. This program has it listed at new location. Big win! It looks very similar to the old Telenav app so I was skeptical on accuracy but it’s up-to-date! Good app overall!
