This apps helps me focus on what God is doing all over the world and pray for specific needs. This app not only has great content but works well. I’ve been using the app since January and haven’t experienced any bugs or freezes. I do have some questions about how up to date all of the information is, but world situations can change quickly. **Developer response:** Thank you so much! ### 5/5 — Informative prayer app *2019-03-05* It gives a concise presentation of the nation to pray for - the people, statistics, sociopolitical situation and prayer needs. The one thing I don’t like is the continually changing images at the top of the screen. These are very distracting when reading the text below them. I love getting to see that other people are praying too. I am curious to know: how is the I am praying number calculated? Per day? Per hour? Would love an Apple Watch companion app. And it would be nice if I could set a reminder alert in the app to remind me to pray each day. Thanks for the great work!!! Reading about some of these nations and their struggles breaks my heart, which forces me to my knees in prayer. One thing isn’t working, which is the I’m Praying button. Well, it seems to click, but the number always remains at 0. Edited after developer response: Uninstalling and reinstalling fixed the problem! Thank you. **Developer response:** Hi there. Let us know if it fixes the problem. ### 4/5 — Great app but ... *2018-05-28* This app is incredible and so needed for the Christian community to pray for the nations, but there are a lot of days the app is not working to click on the “People Praying” tab. Secondly the writer mentions a lot of organizations by their letter acronyms only and I believe I’m not the only one who is not familiar with all of these organizations. Please include a tab that shares the names of these organizations so we can pray for them as well. Otherwise I love the app. **Developer response:** Thank you so much for your review! They’ve been several instances where they’ve adopted secular woke ideology. For instance, when they are talking about American Christians needing to give reparations to descendants of slaves from hundreds of years ago. ### 1/5 — It’s OK *2024-11-04* It’s OK when it works, but most of the times it gets stuck on the country of the day and there’s no way to get back to the calander or to the other menus. **Developer response:** I am sorry you are encountering an issue with the app. Inside the app, if you tap the three bars in the top left corner and tap 'Contact Us', you can select 'Report an Issue'. For example, today’s information on Macau is from sources eight to thirteen years ago. **Developer response:** Thank you for the review. Most of the information is based off the last Operation World book that does make it a bit dated. However, every year we try to update most of the content to include current events. We just recently pushed out an update on the content. ### 3/5 — What happened? *2017-09-05* Discovered the app recently and began using it daily. Then, it quit functioning properly. It no longer allows "I'm praying" or a count of those who are. Any suggestions? **Developer response:** We are truly sorry for problems with the app. Are you still experiencing the issue with the prayer feature? If so, you should uninstall and reinstall the app. This will reset your information. We are also aware of an issue regarding the API server that will occasionally shut off the prayer activity. It usually only lasts for an hour and will start up again. We are looking into it, and will get it fixed as soon as possible. ### 4/5 — I love this app, but request one change *2021-08-01* I am so glad to have this wonderful resource to help me pray for the nations. I have the Operation World book but am grateful for the shorter nation summaries in the app. Thank you to the developer! However, I’d like to ask for one change. It’s so distracting to have the graphics constantly moving, cycling through. I would love for them to be static and have the freedom to swipe through them as I wish. Should be easy to do! In regards to your suggestion, if you are running the latest version of the app, you will see a blue arrow pointing up under the images. Tap it, and the slideshow will disappear. So hilft es mir, über Operation World detaillierte Informationen zu Ländern und die Situation darin zu erfahren. Ich kann Operation World nur alle denen empfehlen, die Länder spezifisch beten möchten. However, several countries have SO much information it is difficult to read through, or understand without history. I appreciate the world map, and the flag. When scrolling through information, the set-up is so sensitive that it often moves me back to a previous page on the left, instead of down for the next screen of prayer details. It is a helpful tool for praying intentionally. Sadly, my app often doesn’t notify me. I have to remember to to open it.
