Just tough to try to check back to certain dates my default date for some reason is stuck on a date and I can’t change it. Not good when you’re trying to find out the location and fuel tank levels. When it works it’s great but it’s not very often. Screen often got white and you have to close the app down and reopen it.Also logs you out all the time and with no Face ID or fingerprint login it’s a pain to have to keep logging back In all the time. Then I kill it and try again a little later. Since there is no Face ID, I have to log in then wait for things to load and finally I can see my compact loader info. JDLink is great as rental operator can see almost what they are doing and if any codes, fuel levels and location 95% of the time. App seems to run slow/not smooth even with the best connection to the internet. Also minor bugs that get annoying when using the app everyday. With that being said machines can still be located using this app. ### 3/5 — WHEN it works , it’s great *2023-12-19, version 6.8.0* As a dealer field technician this app is vital to me, makes finding machines very easy. I can monitor machines and see what codes it’s throwing and when it threw the code before I even head to the machine so I know what parts I should bring, which can save customers money by only making a single trip. It’s a very useful app….. when it works….. I’d say it works properly 6/10 times? Which is disappointing because it used to works great about a year or so ago. A app this important should be a top priority for Deere to keep running smooth ### 4/5 — Functional but needs refining *2023-12-16* Logging in is needlessly difficult on iPhone the app won’t remember credentials and it won’t accept stored password info resulting in you having to enter credentials every time. It is slow at times and takes some time to let it complete every step before moving on to the next thing. It should have some adjustable default settings so it we can have it come up with map instead of satellite when we log in. Alerts should show up on the Home Screen with some type of red warning so you can notice them better. Anyway, JD went to all of this electronic stuff for all there equipment so you would think they could make the app a little more user friendly. It just sits there and spins. What’s the sense of the roof mounted link of the app only works from time to time. I would rate it with zero stars if it was an option. The JD rep is no help. Left a message over a week ago with no response. Is the entire country continually out to lunch? ### 1/5 — Wish I could love the app. *2022-11-03* Constantly have to remove app, reinstall to get through work day. I had a laptop in 1995 that ran like this. (Update): I remove the app more than I use it. Have heard this is a problem with IOS, but not being an IT technical person all I can say is this app is more of a pain than having to receive smoke signals from the unit. Lots of money out there, lots of people very proud of their units and software. Can you be so proud of JDLink for an iPhone that mom will post it on her fridge?! Update: Delete app daily as part of phone shutdown, reload in the morning then 2x during work day.
